Even if the plan was to try and convert EVERYONE to GLB2. You most certainly WOULD NOT just end GLB1 for the fuck of it. Just think about that logically for at least a second.

Think about it, you have 2 games that are very similar. At this point, it is fair to say that both games are unfinished. Why have the distraction of having both games? Why not devote your time to develop just one?

GLB1 is a pretty finished game, some minor bugs here and there aside (which comes in every game). Could use expanding because of stagnancy, but certainly is polished.

Outside of the offense play art nothing about GLB1 and GLB2 are similar. Nothing.
Both are football sims that you put players that you developed in.

This is serious work (stagnancy). Come up with new ideas for glb 1? Pretty big work as well.
In my opinion, the divided attention (and for that matter, a divided userbase) is not good for either game. Glb 1 has proven to be reliable as a game and a business. Lost it luster due to various reasons (lots of work as well) but the potential is still there.
Glb 2 looks like it is stumbling off the block (unlike glb 1 when it started). Bad reviews mostly from people i know.
Pretty clear cut decision for me.

You aren't going to recapture the magic of the old days in GLB1. So what is your point? And if the userbase and revenue is truly going up, it is pretty obvious that is in GLB2 cuz it isn't here.

It isn't a good idea to shut down either game at this current time. If you think it is you are just lost in some dream world.

Lol...so ok. If this is how you put it. Very enlightening.

Point is you won't thrive in a divided environment. Thought i made that clear earlier

It is the way anyone with logical thought would put it at this point. You don't kill off the game that already has customers (GLB1) and tell them all fuck you. You don't kill off the game gaining a userbase and revenue (GLB2).
What don't you understand about that? I mean obviously from your original post you are living the dream where GLB1 hasn't been declining for years now.

If you want to debate whether moving to a second football sim was smart or not, I won't argue, but it is what it is at this point and killing off either game isn't going to be a smart choice whatsoever.

I did Catch where a guy in the loop said that and then he later changed his tune.
