Of course, the point would be to see if there was a descrepency in % of teams total targets both CBs are facing. I guess it's possible jd's cb sees more targets because his team has faced a lot more passing than C-Town.

It could also be that QBs see less of a threat in bolick's CBs because they weak.

Having fewer plays doesn't change the fact that Hood rushes a lot more than they pass, which is what reddog pointed out. Again, 11th in rush attempts and 27th in pass attempts. It's weird how you keep accusing others of doing exactly what you are. I guess that's the way your subconscious deals with your behavior, by projecting it onto others.

Speaking of. When you run as much as alpine, even your QB starts to think that passes are supposed to look like runs. Commitment to the run means your QB blocking people while the ball is in the air still

Shoulda been a pancake. He has a Guards mentality at heart tbh.

There you go throwing out numbers without giving them any context. Hood averages 10 more rush attempts per game than pass attempts. First, that difference isn't a lot. Second, since they are a better team than most, they usually have the incentive to run the ball late in the game in order to run out the clock. If you actually paid attention to the game and tried to figure out what those numbers mean, you'd see that Hood runs the ball much more in the 4th quarter because they tend to go into that quarter ahead and are attempting to protect the lead. That is basic football strategy and has nothing to do with trying to abuse the sim. The discrepancy in the pass to run ratio is easily explained by understanding that Hood plays well enough using a mostly balanced offense in the first three quarters to use the run game to control the clock in the fourth quarter.

I suppose you could include sacks as pass attempts in terms of playcalling (not qb stats)

Actually it is, which is why Hood ranks 11th in rushing attempts yet 27th in pass attempts.

It's funny that you say this since you couldn't pay enough attention to the thread to realize that the top ten teams in pass attempts are 53-37 so far this season. You don't need to run when you have a lead. But for the record, Hood had more 1st quarter rushes than passes in 7 of their 9 games. In total over all 1st quarters, it's been 65 rushes and 46 passes. So come up with a new excuse.

I couldn't live like you do. It would drive me insane to either know I was wrong and lie to avoid admitting it, or to be so deeply delusional that reality doesn't even enter your consciousness. It's annoying that reason, logic, facts, and the opinions of the rest of the world never causes you to question your beliefs or to admit that you're wrong about anything. That's what makes your existence completely pointless, because you never change and you never have any reaction to anything outside your own head.

This thread is still active? Who cares if you run or pass? The bottom line is you have to be able to execute.
Typically, teams that win run more than teams that lose (because of the clock), but it depends on the team's strengths. Ice Odyssey is near the top in rush attempts and near the bottom of pass attempts because we just can't keep the offense on the field except when we are running the ball successfully, and unfortunately that hasn't been every week. If a team can control the ball with either the run or the pass, more power to them.
