Why did you boost before the season, (which will let everyone almost catch up to you in level), when you could have gone into the season as level 1's, then boosted for playoffs and had a 3 level advantage?

Would have made it easier for you to win the trophy. Now if someone who cares about winning decides to boost and add CE for the playoffs, they may actually beat you(not likely with having only 1/2 the players, but it could happen). If you had waited to boost, then they shouldn't have had any chance.

noo...if we wouldn't of boosted at the time we did..we would of been looking at 3-4 losses at the beginning of the year..cause i'm sure most of these teams in this league had it planned out to have their players created on day 41..which gives an extra 2-3 weeks of training....that's already like..8 extra skill points? probably 10? that makes a big difference....


and once again..who has spent a lot of money? this isn't a team with just one agent who created all of the players and bought the team and paid for CE on all of them and boosted all of them..? me personally i spent 200 to create a DE, i donated 200 flex to the team (i am co-owner) and i spent 100 to put CE on my DE and 600 to boost him...

now that's 1100 flex points....i have well over 15k in flex points remaining...i won 10k in the GLB Radio contest back in like season 7 or 8..or 9..or 10..i dunno when it was..

so once again, i don't know who's spending money. my buddy (the team owner) has spent probably 50 bucks? if that's a lot of money then you need to find a better job, or tell GLB to start payin you lol.

I have mabey spent thirty dollars! All I know is that yall are upset by the way we are playing the game b/c we are winning... Like I said I just bought the team after being out for numerous seasons and I wasnt up to date on how yall play this iron man boo hoo but we are here and playing to win this season and if you wanna compete come with it!!! I will retire most players after this season, keep the team and rebuild this team so I can smash yall again next year

CE would make up that difference and then some. 41 to -1 was like 10 days of training which is like 7-8 sp. Plus, I know all the players on team I have a player on weren't built day 41. I doubt many of the other teams have all players built on day 41. With +6 from CEQ you would be above that sp value. Plus you have double the number of players, so you don't get tired as quickly or have to spend any sp on stamina.

$25 - 50 isn't a lot of money to spend on many things. I guess it just comes down to how you value it. Personally, I wouldn't spend $10 to win a pee wee league. That's one reason why I would never play in a competitive pee wee league. If it is worth it to you then fine.

As a team, however, you have given Bort
500 flex for the team for a season
If your entire team has 1 season CE then 3,600 non returnable flex for 1 season CE
Roughly 7,200 burnt flex from boosting players.

That is 11,300 flex burnt (non refundable). That's about $80 for 1 season of pee wee and it isn't even silver or gold.

The rest of the league combined has about 15,000 burnt flex on the season. (30 teams * 500) (there's at least 1 CPU team)


So I'm sure Bort appreciates your team. I just hope the other agents on your team who boosted their players know those players are worthless after this season.

not all players are boosted or have custom equipment, that's a common misconception....and considering me myself have not paid 80 dollars for pee wee or my friend hasn't either or anyone on our roster for that matter...it really doesn't matter.

the player agents know and knew about what boosting would do to them, and really non of them gave a fuck whether it hurt them in the long run or not..they just wanted to win a championship..regardless of league or level of competition...so we made the decisions that we did.


you can be mad about it, laugh about it..do what you do...just don't hate so much, it's an unadmirable quality.


not too sure where you got those numbers from though either..we didn't spend near that much in FP.

who's hating? I'm just participating in the thread you started. I guess I'm trying to understand the logic behind it as well.

I mean if your goal is to win the championship then wouldn't the best way to win the championship be to boost once the playoffs started? Even if you lost 2-3 games in the regular season, home field doesn't really mean anything at this level since there are no VAs. You could have at least seen how the early part of the season went, then if you lost 2 or 3 games boost then. Wouldn't you have been better off with 2 extra levels for the playoffs? And if you did that some of the players may have been salvageable for longer careers.

considering me and mah partner were unaware that pee wee copper leagues were filled with pussies trying to do some gay iron man shit then i wouldn't of even worried about it, like i said..most of us planned on retiring our players after this season anyways because we didn't create them on day 41..boost or not...so either way it really doesn't matter.

and me personally, when i left this game..they didn't have "rookie, sophomore" leagues for players being between 1-40 days old and shit like that...so i was under the assumption that the XP you received wasn't based upon level, but how old you are...obviously that's not the case...trial and error.

for one...you were not part of that team that beat us, so you have no room to talk.




secondly, we aren't fully boosted, we don't all have full CE...and we still have yet to set up AI for offense or defense...not to mention the more players you have, the more chance you have of missing a tactic change, or having a bad build on the team, or not getting full XP every game.


it was a GG though, i'm more than willing to accept a loss during the regular season...great job on old english's part! sometimes you gotta lose till you win!

Fact: their RB = 237 SP, our fully boosted RB = 241 SP ...it makes a huge difference when you create your players on day 41, as opposed to day -1.
