Don't listen to some of these guys. They take this kind of stuff more seriously than others. Whoever finishes in the top 20 is in.

Don't get me wrong, I take it seriously, but I know our limitations - we aren't going to beat the upper teams this season, we are just too young. If those teams don't want blowout games in the challenge, then you obviously need teams in the bottom half to compete against each other...or leave them all out..

To be honest, it's quite the clusterfuck when i look at it.

1-Canton (not to be a dick, but this is probably the one consensus pick we'll have)
2-Warriors-I think you have to give them credit. They've played a tough schedule and are undefeated. They might not be the 2nd best team in the league, but they have a better claim to it than anyone else by far.
3-Philly-Might be high for them, but only loss is to Canton and they beat Somalia fairly handily in a ranked scrim game.
4-TAP-yah, they're currently ranked 7th in Elephant, but they've repped APL well in scrims, and honestly are probably the 2nd best team in the league despite 2 losses
5-BSSI-Win over Hali proves they have the talent. 2 league losses is pretty surprising, but they'll represent well
6-Somalia-Some will have them higher, but I think this is about right
7-ICB-Played TKW tough, and beat TAP and BSSI. Surprising losses on there, but I still think they're up here.
8-CWE-Am I punishing them too much for the loss to Zambezi?
9-Lincoln-they're undefeated, but really untested. Elephant is so much deeper and so much more confusing, so I put Lincoln here.
10-ABD-Not always winning pretty, but winning nonetheless. Argument could be made for them even higher, but I honestly think they'll fall significantly when they hit the heart of their schedule
11-SoA-They really aren't that great this season, but they're still not bad.
12-RMT-Get this spot because of win over A7, but it's close
13-A7-Could very well be undefeated and may deserve a significantly higher ranking, but getting crushed by Rhine Red Raiders makes me skeptical. Hopefully they can rep well for APL
14-Zambezi-Loss to Ghana still baffling. Win over CWE means they are better than they've shown so far. Expect good things from them in the challenges.
15-Nairobi-I'm pretty confident in this ranking for them.
16-GG-So much better than their record it's not even funny. Should pull in a win against a lesser opponent ranked this low.
17-Uganda-If Landry will man up and stay true to his word and stay in the challenge then they should get a win here for us and help rep APL
18-RM49-Brutal schedule so far. Not a bad team.
19-Nile River-Proving themselves competitive
20-Ghana Buffalos-Have had some close games against excellent teams. If they would have beat Sons and ABD in addition to their win over Zambezi, we'd be talking about them.
21-Norfolk Nighthawks-Staying in games for the most part
22-London Mighty Milkmen-Not as bad as their record shows. Staying competitive
23-Translyvania Grim Reapers-Need to keep their heads up and will snag a couple wins here in the 2nd half of the season. They're respectable in games, but have had a tough schedule to start their Pro experience
24-Boston Stranglers-Have a pretty good team note at least.

I have no problem with this, and we may fall...But we beat ICB....So put us where you want us...When it comes to challenges the ABD represents well.

Then Canton can step out of it for all I care. We do enough scrims and tournaments. If this is to serious then let someone else take care of it. Your entitled to your opinion and I have a right to mine. If were just going to let everyone play then do it with the other 23 teams.

Guys I agree with PML97. When I signed TGR up it was when you needed more teams to signup. Believe me we will likely get killed so I am fine with being left out of this challenge. We are too young to compete with most teams in Pro this season. So go ahead and drop TGR off the list. We don't deserve to represent APL this season!!!!

Like I said in my PM.....it's no sweat off of my back. This is just a game, and anyone who thinks that it is more than that needs to reevaluate their life imho.

The only thing that I have a problem with is that I now have people PM'ing me and posting in this thread that they want to drop out because of one person's opinion. I accepted the fact a long time ago that you guys over at Canton were an arrogant bunch. I saw GMathiasf's post over in the SAPL forum about you guy's are taking the season off over here. I know that you guy's don't think that anyone here is worthy enough to be in the same sim with you. That still doesn't give you the right to dump on everyone else's fun. PML97, you sent me a PM telling me that you guys were dropping out. There was no reason to post it here too. I don't even know why I wasted my time trying to set this up in the first place. I should have known that something was going to happen, or someone was going to say/do something to screw everything up.

Hehe you know it would have been alot better had you just left GM out of it since he's been more supportive for your cause than probably anyone else posting. But i'll agree he's an arrogant ...

Like I said before some people may disagree with me or get their feelings hurt. That wasn't my intention my intention was that to do these you should be trying to win. Definitely can't say I wanted to see this implode but at the same time if there are teams deciding they aren't ready for it this season then good for them for thinking better of APL and wanting the league to do it's best.

I wasn't trying to bring in GM into this. I was just saying I saw what he put. I know that he has supported me in this. In fact, he's the reason why I volunteered to do it in the first place. I don't think that any of you guys over at Canton are bad people. I just think that we have a differing of opinion when it comes to this game.

If anyone wants to drop out, then please post here and let me know.

oh shit, I didn't know other people could read the SLAP forums!

I was going to get upset, but then I realized you were a Bears fan, and I get it now. Then again, PML is a Lions fan, so maybe that will help you understand his frustration.

I am a Lions fan, and only PML knows my pain. But PML also sees the same light at the end of the tunnel that i see.

Anyway, what is the big deal of all this shit. blah blah blah. The bottom 4 teams should drop out, and we will challenge OPL and SLAP with 20 teams. No offfense to the lower teams, but this is a league "pissin' contest" and we only need the big dicks.

Worded differently than I would have said it but I agree foshizzel.

Gonna edit this because I wasn't paying attention to you being a Warriors of the Big House guy. Anyone referring to the Big House in a positive way must be 100% correct. Foshizzle knows what he's talking about end of story... Go BLUE!

Top 20 versus top 20. Though I only have a few players here in APL and not a team of my own anymore, that's my worthless opinion.

Agreed. The top 20 teams stay in, and the others are dropped. I really didn't see this as that big of a problem.
