I think qcbc might've switched confs this past season too.

Correct. Jebs, Providence, QCBC, St. John's, and Queensland were initially all in the same conference.

The fact that a team can switch conferences just by asking is news to me however...was this one a time deal or do other teams do this too?

Anyone, you just have to contact support and find a willing partner. Same as changing leagues, which has been done forever.

We asked out. Providence had originally come up through CPL East, but got put in the West for some reason when we dropped out of the WL. It wasn't in anyone's interest to repeat the nonsense of last season where only one would have the chance to promote.

yes last season was ridiculous....

You're right, that does sound stronger than WL Zeta.

Me too, though, so I win gold either way.

Again, people only downplay scrimmages when they lose them. Regular season games and ranked scrimmages aren't determined by randomness, they're won by rosters and AI. Maybe you would win if both of us were scouting and making adjustments; who knows.

You realize that the game engine we play on is a random number generator. Of course they're determined by randomness, and this season is random as I've seen. You can play the same team twice with the same AIs and easily see a 40 to 80 point swing.

Is this your way of again arguing that the Providence-Canton game was actually "close"?

dude, I know you like to troll me for whatever reason. I told you we'd do a rematch. If you seriously think Providence is that much better than us, then you have nothing to lose.

But it has nothing to do with that, it's just reality, and if you think otherwise, you're even dumber than I ever imagined. Just like we're not 40 points worse than CRR or 40 points better than Cagliari or 60 points better than DADDY. Do you think that SoCal is 40 points better than Providence?

Do you honestly not notice the hypocrisy there? You're the one trolling, just as you always do. Regardless, please stop pretending that the results are determined by randomness this season instead of randomness being a small factor in outcomes, just as it always has been. SoCal beat the shit out of Providence because they're a great team who needs a certain type of gameplan against them.

Well, this is not entirely true, at least from my experience with the sim this season. Play the same two teams with the same game plan and you can easily get a 50 point spread. No doubt about that. The unrealistic morale system can completely turn games upside down in one play.
