WEEK 4 - LION
1 Carthaginian War Elephants (4-0) - Stomping their opponents right now. Can they keep this up all season? They'll get another shot to show their dominance when they play Massawa next week.
2 Fulham Flying Hellfish (4-0) - The Hellfish are keeping pace with CWE and hoping to see them falter soon. They'll have to focus on their next 3 games though. Ironton, Franchise & San Fran will put up some good fights and Franchise/San Fran are big threats.
3 Cagliari Outbreak (3-1) - After a tough loss last week the Outbreak are back to doing what they do best. Dominating teams. Can they do it again when they face San Fran this week? A win here is sure to have an impact on playoff seeding down the road.
4 Massawa Redhorns (4-0) - Big game coming up next week. CWE comes to town so it's a chance for the Redhorns to show what they're made out of.
5 Franchise (3-1) - The only team to take it to CWE so far is continuing to dominate their opponents. Week 6 is around the corner and looking to be one hell of a game.
6 Wallachia Wamphyri (3-1) - After last weeks slip-up they came back in fine fashion to take down the Storm thanks to a huge first half.
7 San Francisco Demons (3-1) - Almost 1,000 yards of offense against Kenya to get them an easy win.
8 Kenya Diggits (1-3) - If there's one thing Kenya is doing very well it's airing it out. Unfortunately, that's not getting them any wins.
9 IRONTON TANKS (1-3) - Tough stretch of game for the Tanks with no end coming anytime soon. Fulhams up next, then San Fran, then Wallachia, 2 weeks after that CWE. It's easy to see Ironton fall to a 2-7 record after that so they'll have to play at their best.
10 Sahara Storm (1-3) - With Uganda up next Sahara gets a little breather but can they take advantage of it. CWE is up after and the second half of the season doesn't get any easier.
11 Sterling Bulldawgs (1-3) - Tough opening month for the Bulldawgs. Next up is a match against an old rival in LHC followed by Zambezi so they have a shot at breaking even if they can pull out those wins.
12 Sun City Undertakers (1-3) - Sun City is slowly spiraling down and need to get back to winning. Hard to see that happening next week against Franchise but they can bounce back with games against LHC & Zambezi coming up.
13 West Yorkshire Bandits (2-2) - The Bandits stifled LHC's passing game to come away with a narrow victory.
14 LHC Naked Turtles (1-3) - The Turtles won the turnover battle and time of possession but they failed to put up enough points to win this one as they had to settle for 3 FGs.
15 Uganda Silverbacks (1-3) - Uganda isn't having quite the chem problem that Zambezi is but they are struggling to come up with some Ws. Maybe they have a shot against Sahara but it's hard to read that match-up right now.
16 Zambezi Silverbacks (0-4) - How much longer will the Silverbacks struggle this season? The season will be more than halfway through before their chemistry is at a respectable level and by then it will be too late to gain any ground.
WEEK 4 - ELEPHANT
1 Nairobi Warthogs (4-0) - Can anything slow down the Warthogs?
2 Sons of Anubis (4-0) - The Sons managed to pul off the win with the winning TD coming in the last 2 minutes of the game.
3 The Dead Presidents (3-1) - A rough loss to the #1 ranked team. They were only down by 7 going into the second half but got shutout the rest of the game 48-0 as the offense failed to get any production.
4 Windhoek White Rhinos (2-2) - A hell of a game by Windhoek but they failed to hold off the Sons late push and lost the game by 4 points.
5 Guyana Generalissimo's (3-1) - A solid win that saw 4 TDs come from the defense and special teams alone.
6 Zimbabwe Rebels (2-2) - Took a beatdown from the Hand. They'll bounce back next week.
7 Black Sea Sunami (2-2) - Impressive win that saw BSS put up double digit points in every quarter. The defense forced turnovers and the offense played a great game to make it an easy win.
8 Angola Blood Diamonds (2-2) - A big loss for ABD and with Guyana and the Sons up next things could get worse for them quickly.
9 The African Predators (2-2) - TAP couldn't overcome their turnovers and the shoddy play on special teams as they gave up 21 points from turnovers and returns in the first half.
10 Ivory Coast Breakers (3-1) - The Breakers may feel shafted in the rankings being under all the 2-2 teams but until they beat one of those teams I can't justify moving them up just off of record alone.
11 The Black Hand (1-3) - After a rough 3 weeks TBH finally posts their first win in sound fashion. They thoroughly dismantled the Rebels.
12 Kickin Djibouti (1-3) - A solid performance to pick up win number 1. Can they do it again against TBH?
13 Wrightstown Tigers (0-4) - The next 5 weeks are brutal and could put an end to the Tigers season.
14 Ron's Texans (1-3) - So last week the Texans doubled their points total from weeks 1 & 2 combined. This week they almost tripled their points total from weeks 1-3 combined. Can we expect to see them quadruple their total from weeks 1-4 combined when they face TAP next week?
15 MaRAWK!!o Evil Aces (1-3) - Still in the game at halftime but their offensive struggles couldn't put up any points in the second half.
16 Darfur Depopulators (0-4) - Things are looking bleak for Darfur right now.
1 Carthaginian War Elephants (4-0) - Stomping their opponents right now. Can they keep this up all season? They'll get another shot to show their dominance when they play Massawa next week.
