Hey I'm not knocking the creator or disregarding his hard work. Nor am I "whiner". I do think some sort of quality of win factor should be added. That way if you beat the #1 team by 1pt you don't go down. Which with this system could easily happen. All I'm saying is the way it's set up now the power rankings really have no meaning until everyone plays everyone and at that point it's null and void.

LOL, I like how I was copied into that whole block of posts...I wasn't whining as well...just thought it was funny for a crappy team to beat another crappy team and jump very high in the rankings.

Please by no means am i say your a whiner and I hope no one in this thread is truly implying that. Atm I know itsa flawed system. Its the first time im running rankings in a system wher not trying to use a SoS (strength of schedule). i figured in this game since everyone plays each other a SoS would be null and void. now in both this conference and in lion I have had some things I have seen majorly flawed in the current formula. I am hoping by Game 8 i can have a modified one that is a little more accurate just ask for time. And as long as I am in APL I will keep working the formula and tweaking it season to season.

After the 3rd game I realized I needed to make a spreadsheet as I didnt think that far ahead cause of it being spur of the moment to make the lists. I have the spreadsheet running for both conferences so i think i can add something to make this system flesh itself out. And by all means if someone wants to give me advice on what they think should help balance it. PM away. As it currently stands the weights for this is about 2/5 scoring differential (thus the disparity atm) 2/5 is win % and the rest is a few minor things still tweaking.

As to saltman and Cairo I understand. I know its not perfect however to see how flawed I needed to see it working.

Thank you. Guess i'll have to check back again to see how he's doing in the update rankings.

begiunning the update now -= had to work late. Also i ammaking changes to the formula now. Should see it change a lot as I am adding in a SoS formula.

Ok made another change to formulas as I was seeing some other things that shouldn't weigh so much affecting the scores more then i liked. Going to keep this formula for a few games to see how it goes. On that note. Update is done.
