What exactly are you basing that on? 11 players already have 150 or more pancakes not even two-thirds of the way through this season (only 6 total at the end of last season).

Reverse pancakes. Defensive tackles, specifically the NT gets a ton of them with build having a much smaller impact than it should.

They're prevalent, but nowhere near as common as pancakes themselves. If you look at the S12 and S13 World League rushing averages, they're way up this season. Given which players are doing particularly well, it looks like pancakes are the main culprit.

It is true that rushing has put up huge numbers, but if you look at the close games, most have very subpar rushing averages, between 1.5-3.5 yards normally.

You've only had one close game, and in that one you ran for 211 yards in large part because of 96 pancakes. Look, you didn't ask for Bort to make this happen, but it's indisputable that the Blaze have benefited inordinately from whatever change he made. You guys have the magic formula this season.

You are wrong though. Pancakes are up, but so is rev. cakes. They counter themselves pretty well and I would give the advantage to the D-line over the O-lines. As for the sim, I think it has not helped us or hurt us overall but if I had to pick one it hurt us a little more than it helped. Having much more talent is why we look so dominant.

Although, the full VA reset helped us a ton, as we were able to change to zone on D.

This season is just highlighting the fact that high lvl shitty builds don't = win. This will just show more and more each season, and those who THOUGHT they knew how to build will come to a realization.
