to be fair, just about every blitz is an exploit right now....that's how broken the OLine is. You literally can't blitz anyone and play straight up. Here were my sins from today:

Some of them were fine - either beat the block or overloaded getting a blitzer free. Some were just the result of the OLine acting like they all ride the short bus to the game.
If you send a blitzer right now (even if you intend the play to be a run blitz) you run the risk of running an exploit defense.

I disagree only in that you can still send blitzes and it not be an exploit. You pretty much have to WANT to in order for it to take advantage of the blocking code. Besides do you have to run the same blitz play on EVERY potential passing play? Can't you just understand that it is an exploit and limit the usage?
And yes, we are aware it can be countered, but the counter is not as guaranteed as getting a sack is. It doesn't really matter I guess, it's all just a game.
