Hence you are right, he can't (and likely doesn't want to) fit in with your crowd.

Yeah i'm so burning with hatred and anger over it

That's obvious.

Lmao

Further evidence that CPL posters only pay attention to CPL posters. This may explain why they think CPL posting is good. All other posts appear blank.*

Hey Junior, what do you think the Rams should do about their QB situation?(draft and FA) Who would be your top guys for them to go after? What do you think are our positions of need?

Suh/Pike

Pike is not a very good fit for our offense which is setup for a more mobile QB plus his injury proneness is a turn off.

So LeFevour then? Team needs a QB... Pike definitely has WAY more upside though IMO... His height is a huge plus, has a cannon, and see's the field well...

LeFevour is a possibility, I personally really like Lefevour a lot. He moves well, has good arm strength and has shown all the ability. I also wouldn't be upset if we went with Tebow in the 2nd or 3rd round, provided we had a vet QB who could start for a year or two. I'd love to see us go out and get Campbell if Washington lets him walk or take a chance on Pennington.

If St Louis was lucky, Pike would slip to them in the third, or they could trade up and land him late in the 2nd... If I were a Rams fan, he'd be the QB I'd be hoping for...

For the first, either draft Suh or trade down and get Gerald McCoy. Either way, the key is to get some meat to put in front of Jimmy Larry. After all the failures they've had in the draft, especially at DT, they have to get it fixed right. As for QB, Bulger is still as good as any that could be had through free agency. I've heard rumors of them getting Vick, but that worries me. With the WRs they have, Vick just seems like he'd take off and scramble 20 times a game. As for drafting a QB (I think Null have proven he lives up to his name), I'm gonna show my homerism for the Mountain West and suggest spending a 4th or 5th rounder on Max Hall.

You do remember this latest wave started when Unreadable reached back 4 months to stir this up, right?

I suppose this depends on what exactly you mean, but by the conventional definition I think you're wrong. Pike would be a safer pick, but he's also not going to get much better than he is right now.

What? Of all the things you can evaluate about quarterbacks, height is one of the dumbest.

What, part 2? Pike has below average arm strength.

True. Pike has excellent awareness, makes good decisions, and throws the ball accurately. He's an ideal backup quarterback who could do very well if surrounded by exceptional talent, but he's not the type of guy you would want starting on a team with pass protection issues.

This isn't really true by a longshot. Preach Brees love all you want, but him and Vick are the only 2 QBs <6'2" in the last decade to make a pro bowl I'm pretty sure.

Taller QBs can see the field better and are less likely to need the line to open passing lanes on shorter routes, since O-linemen range from 6'3" to 6'8". To say that height doesn't matter at a position like QB, is like saying height doesn't matter for a WR...
