You can request a demotion to something other than Uncapped Minors? That's a pretty big loophole, where a competitive team in Pro or AAA could just demote down 1 level to dominate.

I don't know if that will be the case with BCP, but it sets a precedent. What's to stop a team like Lima Beans going to Canada AAA for a trophy? (And they'd have at least a 90% chance of winning one, tbh)

I know BCP has had a little attention about this in this thread, but we shouldn't be the focus of this post.

If you're looking for a team setting a precedent, this team http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2748 has also requested, and apparently received, a demotion.

I'm guessing the Lima Beans are a CPL team?


There is a limitation, albeit rather minute, on who can request demotion. I can't remember what it is, but it's on the page to request a demotion.
