But, hey, while every educated person in the world looks at history and believes politics and war were the primary driving forces that moved Old English to Middle English, you and your Americans continue to believe that it happened naturally through some sort of gradual evolution, sort of like you're rapidly evolving to the mental level of a dung beetle.
