And Juan, I've told you a MILLION times: don't tell people you're sniping them!

DUDE!

I so should do that.

Seriously. I'll put my starting corner on the line and my starting DT at CB.

It'd be hella interesting.

do it the last game of the season if your playoff seeding is already set in stone. i'm intrigued to see how that would work out.

Sounds like I'll mix it up the last week against Bratislava, should be fun once we have the 4th, or possibly even 3rd seed wrapped up.

lol thanks for all the positive replies guys.

Cappy, we'll see what happens. I'm fairley confident you can pull off a shut out against us. But, i'm also willing to bet we might be able to hold your team to 21 or less.

Our defense has been decent all year, despite some large margins of scores. I think i've found a solid gameplan on the defensive side which utilizes our the strengths of our players. But, it's hard to tell really.

I'd love to be able to control who/when we blitz and who plays in what types of packages. More customization on the D side would be a blast. Would also allow for lessening the skill points gap, in some cases, by playing specifically to individual players, and teams, strengths.

All in all though, it's been fun so far. I like a challenge, and gameplanning against teams/GM's who have been doing this a little longer than us has been quite one indeed.

21 points?!?!!?

WHAT?!?!

You mean per quarter??

Yeah, I agree. A shutout is likely (no offense to your team, we just had one last game against a better team), I'm not sure what my offense will go score wise as we are so run heavy when we get up. It could be another 28-0 game where we just eat up the clock so much scoring is impossible or a 91-0 blowout where we have nine rushing touchdowns. I expect another game where both backs get 100+ yards. If I went passing more, our scores would probably go up but as would your total plays if we punted more.

Good luck, I wouldn't mind giving up points to you guys. I'm going to tweak tactics a little bit to prevent any major holes but I expect our pressure to be enough to walk away with the win and that's all we need. Our defense has been solid as we have went on, giving up 11 1/3 points per game in our last six as we hit the tough stretch. That has put us in a position to win every game, considering we average a rushing TD every game. Considering the league we are in, I find that a very solid number.

Working on them right now. And no, none of this 24 hour delay again, I'm at the office and have time to spare (four hours) so if it's not done by then, that is when you guys can call for my head.

P.S. Congrats to Lowell for their first win!

Is this going to be another one of those "Cheetahs win but fall" PRs

We all are tightly packed, I wouldn't be surprised if someone elses bigger win jumps em. I wouldn't even complain either!

You were going to drop but your innovative placing of DTs in the secondary boosted you up a few spots.

Haha. I'm doing it too.

Buck it. I don't care.

DT = going in my secondary.

Should I put a WR at safety?

I say start you punter and kicker at NT and DT, DT's at CB, and corners at kicker and punter. I think I already promised our kicker a spot at DT for a game at some point in the future.

WR at safety isn't THAT big of a difference. You should put the back-up QB at safety! Who better to read long passes than a QB!?
