Instead of eliminating 12 teams first round; eliminate only 8 teams and the four teams with the closes games fill in the final 4 spots to take us back to 16 teams… but none of these teams play who they played in the first round. This way there is no BYE’s.

Following up on my thought; here is my two cents on the last four spots:

Game 20: Mississippi Delta Delta Force vs Thessaloniki Macedonians

Game 24: Dinwiddie Dustdevils vs Dresden Dragons

All teams were from the same side of the Bracket... is it perfect, no... but this is just a game, right.

I'd be game for another shot at the apple

That's fine by me as long as we don't have to play Miss. Delta Force again till the title game. I just got that monkey off my back and would like to savor it at least for a while.
