Where in that post do I defend what we did, ive said it once and ill say it again, my opinion on what we did will never be posted on the league forums because its a team matter and as long as I am a Winemaker, I will never say anything that goes against the team, if i agree with it or not.

It was in response to your post that said that the entire outcome of the league would have been different if it weren't for the exploit. I asked what would have changed and you still didnt answer my question, instead you focused on the cheap shot i took, and completely ignore my valid question calling out the stupidity of your original statement. Why did yo do this? well I believe it is because you know your original post was preposterous, and you would rather not acknowledge it, because if you did you would know you are wrong, and that could tip the scales on your already fragile ego.

if you would quote where i said that i would gladly admit i was wrong but never once did i say the league standing would be different, i only always been saying that it was a cheap thing to do,

Oh, no, my apologies! I was the one that you were responding to! I am sorry one of my colleagues got mixed up in that! If you want to go back and check I said that the whole thing has to make me wonder what really would have happened had it not been for the exploit! I also said in so many words that I think things would have been different! I still go along with that! Now I won't believe for a minute that you didn't gameplan for the last game between us! We beat you passing and we did the same thing all season long! So everyone in this league knew what we were doing! On top of that , I think both of our games against Krakow were closer than the final of the championship game, I could be wrong about that! LOL! You must be feeling guilty! Your response was really defensive if you ask me! If you also want to go back and check I don't think I even mentioned any teams in my post!

I have no problem with people using the ISLAM we all have that play. I've seen teams use it and lose and I've seen teams use it and win.

This entire thread is pointless, who cares?

i dont see a situation where the standings could have been different if we hadnt used that gameplan in the playoff game, so that doesnt make a ton of sense. i wished we had taken more time and set our tactics up defensively for the newark game, and i take the blame for that because we got lazy having not had a competitive game to plan for since the jacksonville game of week 3.

i take pride in the fact that my team was a couple of lost fumbles away from a 2nd consecutive gold trophy. i thought and still do think that krakow was the best team in a4 this season, and am very happy with the way the season turned out, losing to the best team twice by a combined 7 points.

i think the major point of this thread is some people are crying foul that a game plan in a game that they were no way involved with was used. the fact is is that cupp breaks tackles like a champ, and that is what won the game, not the play calling. i personally think that if we had to do it over again, we could have worked in some other running plays that have been effective for us this season, and been able to perhaps alter the score in a positive direction, but i felt it was unnecessary.

congrats to krakow for beating us twice, while i felt we played the better game for 59 minutes and 45 seconds of the game, we couldnt get it done and you guys have a trophy, and will do well in seasons beyond this, and i hope we continue to have barnburners against each other. congrats to jacksonville on having a great team and a great season. congrats to newark and berlin wall for having great passing games and for being very entertaining to watch, and especially to newark for throwing it right over our solid pass defense. one of those teams will win the zeta championship next season, and i look forward to several mcrg excuses for why they lose to them next season.

So.... how would things be different? I am still waiting for that answer, so by saying that your game against Krakow was closer than the championship game are you saying that you should have won the championship? We all knew the champion was coming out of Zeta. If you want, you can say that Lyon was the only team that even came close to beating krakow all season seeing that they were the only team all season to actually have a lead in the 2nd half against them.
But please I still want to know what would change, because you know nothing would, and it seems like you are just blowing hot air right now.

I don't know that anything turned out differently. Certainly your team had the talent to win that game as shown by the scrimmage later.

I do think it is a cheap way to play and win the game and more importantly that you and your team are better than that. Given that I am going to call you on that because it was a chicken shit move that shows you had doubts if you could beat them.

I wasn't involved in the game but it could have just as easily happened to any of the teams I play on and as this community is still fairly small we could end up facing off again in another league with other teams. The point of my complaining is to say it isn't right and it is bullshit. I will call bullshit if it happens to me and i will call bullshit when it happens to others. Hopefully calling people out will stop others. Probably not but given a forum to express my opinion I will take it.

i agree it was a cheap way to win, but i saw the writing on the wall and the fact was i didnt think more than 2 teams were going to be getting promoted (which is what turned out to have happened) and was threatened by the outside chance that if we didnt do whatever it took to win that we might not win it. i also had no way to know that they wouldnt do the same, and if they had and i hadnt, i would have felt foolish.

anyone that didnt make the adjustment later in the season,was just plain foolish and a myopian.
