Warrior General Games

no prob man, I like playing other top teams because it helps me learn things. Every game is a measuring stick and there's always something we figure out to help us improve. We won't spend any time scouting and planning but I'm constantly tweaking tactics so it's not like the game is meaningless for us....there's only so much you can learn from smacking around gut jobs.

Aint that the damned truth. I get so sick of seeing all of these gutted teams around here! It's always fun to get into some tourny's and play real competition. Not saying that we don't during the season but we do play some cupcakes and it's nice to have tourny's in the meanwhile. Now that being said Hollywood is going through it's toughest part of the schedule 2 down 2 to go still so it's been really interesting this week and last.

If you happen to come across some other good tournaments out there that we might all find challenging and fun feel free to let us know. What would be cool is if Bort sanctioned a few of the bigger ones and awarded trophies. It might be a big headache to do something like that but IMO it would give us something more to play for than just our own league titles and bragging rights.

We spotted Hollywood 17 just to make it interesting.

Does this sound worth getting involved in to the rest of you guys? That's a lot of games but its a tournament and not just a classic. Personally my team has never been involved in one so I'm undecided if we should waste our time, but on the other hand it might be cool to rep our teams outside of this league and build up some GLB cred.

It sounds like a good format for a tournament, but that tournament in particular doesn't look like it has good teams.

good job H-town in putting down the pythons.

Man that was a close game, came down to a fourth quarter FG to win it.

GG Pythons. It turned out to be a very evenly matched game between two very stout teams. Not a bad game for not scouting and planning. We may have to do it again down the road.
