Warrior General Games

Unfortunatly i forgot doing it before i left for work yesterday.
So i'm doing next round now so i won't forget

Alpha:

Team Perkis - Reykjavik
(Team Perkis surprisingly leads Alpha, but offcourse its not like they have had the hardest opponents so far. Reykjavik has so far had two of the best teams, so hard to compare these two. But Perkis seems to be abit better, so they will be my guess to win.)

Sweden - Limerick
(Top game in alpha this round. As expected Sweden has opened hard, crushing Glasgow and Lyon. Limerick has had two easy games and not been equally convincing.
However they seem pretty equal so this is gonna be really hard. Which makes it hard to say a winner, but just cause i'm impressed by their turnaround, my guess goes to Sweden. That doesn't mean Limerick has less chance to win though.)

South Yorkshire - Southriding
(Last season this would have been an exciting game, but since then Southriding has lost alot of what they used to be able to do. And now they barely even beat Arrakis.
South Yorkshire should definetly win this one.)

IKK Fu - Arrakis
(IKK Fu is the favourite to win the league while Arrakis is rebuilding. There should be no contest as IKK Fu wins.)

Bow Street - Belgrade
(We are back in the business and unfortunatly for Belgrade we are just to good and should easily win.)

Belfast - Belgian
(Not much to go on s they met either good or horrible teams so far. So i'll stick with my first impression that Belfast is abit better and will win this.)

Glasgow - Lyon
(With Lyon going cpu and just starting up again, this will be a massacre for Glasgow)

Cork - Glastonbury
(Glastonbury doesn't stand a chance in this league unfortunatly. So they will be massacred yet again)

Zeta:

Kilkenny - London
(Top game of the round in Zeta. This one will be really hard a closely fought i think. While Kilkenny may have only met easy opponents so far, they are definetly better than last season.
While London is not as good which Tranmere proved last round. Hard to say who will win, so i'm just gonna guess Kilkenny though i might easily be wrong)

Tranmere - Vatican
(By defeating London, Tranmere is sailing up as favourite of Zeta. Vatican has dissapointed so far compared to how strong they should be.
So i don't think they are strong enough to handle Tranmere, meaning Tranmere will win.)

Rome - Buffalo
(Well guess i missed horribly in thinking Buffalo would win the league. And Rome hasn't impressed either by barely beating Athen. I'm not sure how good these two really are, but Buffalo still seems to be the better team, so i think they will win.)

Blood Ravens - Irish
(Massacre for Blood Ravens)

Drunken - Nola
(We got some really good Zeta games this round as also this will not be an easy one.
Both teams have taken down Buffalo and gotten a really good start for the season.
However seeing how Drunken crushed Buffalo while Nola barely won, my guess goes to Drunken.)

Munich - Vienna
(Munich had a good start beating Vatican and only barely losing to Drunken.
Vienna hasn't impressed much being chanceless against both Vatican and London.
Munich really should win this.)

Walthamstow - Athen
(Walthamstow lost surprisingly against Blood Ravens, while Athen has lost expectedly against 2 stronger opponents.
Not much to go on, so i say Walthamstow wins as they look better.)

Pubcrawlers - Koln
(Another close game between two equally good teams.
Both teams has been massacred twice now, but as Koln is playing with cpu players i say Pubcrawlers win this.)

Whoa there, don't get carried away we ain't the favourites. Miami beat New England, but noone thinks that they are favourites for the AFC, we should be considered in a similar way as Miami!

Kilkenny stomped on Dublin much harder than us, and are therefore far more ruthless and should be installed as favourites.

Followed closely by London and Buffalo, who are both throwing smoke screens! Copied in turn by Rome.

Nola and Drunken should definitely be considered as favourites also.

Not forgetting Vatican who have returned to their competitive past after a season rest during season 4.

The Blood Ravens have started strong and are out to prove that they shouldn't have been written off at the beginning of the season.

Whilst Munich are once again showing that they will be in the mix come the end of the season.

why do zeta teams have such problems being touted as favourites? do you have allergies against peer recognition?

Makes it funner to put the pressure on the other guy.

I'm betting on Titan's or Nola this season.

Asmodan thanks again for doing the picks. Except not really sure I am comfortable that we are the favorites.

Not a problem as such, just don't believe that it is right, trying to assist Asmo when selecting teams he think will win each week.

And also I think we all feel we'll be jinxed from our lucky starts if we are made favourites?

Not all of us do. I'm much more concerned about the competition from within our own conference, as opposed to whatever Zeta team is unfortunate enough to be the stepping stone en route to another demonstration of Alpha superiority.
