added that one in, scrimmage testing it.

Now TEs are smashing my man.

I'll test the nickel out.

How are your linebackers/safeties built? Flip flopping between the two seems counter to how most defenders are built. And what Kayoh said works. Thankfully there are now a variety of defensive plays to choose from that put under zones in prime TE passing lanes. Test out a few different robber/lurk concepts and see what's up.

right now my LBs have mid 40s Man D and mid 50s Zone D. I'm sure that both are too low.

get man awr up to 70 over the offseason and you'll be peachy.

Ummm...Vader had great success on Imperial Forces when he was roaming the middle. He was in the top 3 of the league multiple times in knocked loose AND pass deflections.

that's cute, but it doesn't solve DD's problem of defending TEs.

What are their coverage tech and quickness/footwork?

Build a monster, hard hitting, quick MLB...but it helps to be a S*. If a LB is gonna play zone, he needs to be quick and have great footwork...and power tackle for knock loose.

right now coverage at 40, Q/F at mid 30/mid 30

all three will be raised, but that's where they are at

all three of those skills are just fine where they are, pump man awr and sprinting and you'll be fine.

Dunno about sprinting, and not sure if awareness should be pumped to 70 so quickly in the expense of other skills. But increased, definitely. Although if SA's merit, then go crazy, can't hurt for them to trigger more often.

Q/F should be upped a bit. Deflection as well if you want them to be more dedicated to pass coverage. Will be upping Vertical no matter what, but so far doesn't seem imperative. I've got a LB that I'm working on Zone Shark with, results TBD...I imagine it'll be till JMan-ish for average levels of balance to be high enough for it to make an impact.

Q/F in the mid 30s is plenty at the soph/seasoned level imo

Maybe for man coverage, but not zone. Is his build moving towards man or zone? If zone, you need footwork and quickness up. My coverage LBs have 50 quick/footwork right now in sophomore.
