Western Conference Owners / GMs

If you'd like I'll take responsibility for sending out ballots for Western Conference All-Stars to all team owners.

After the regular season I will collect the completed ballots from all owners and create the Western Conference All-Star Team.

I can also TRY emailing Bort and see if there is ANY chance in hell he'd simulate a West-East All-Star Game for our league since it IS an EXTREMELY active league.

Odds are slim he'd do it, but we can try.

Any chance of the GMs getting in on this? Some GMs are more active than team owners. We are lucky we have an active owner and GM, but others are not.

How about this. . . .

1 Ballot per team. It can come from either a GM or Owner.... your choice.

Yes one ballot per team. Can be either the owner or a gm.

We doing this like heisman voiting i.e. 1st 2nd and 3rd place votes with each receiving different amount of points.

Not what I was thinking but I like your idea. Makes sense.

OR

To make it more simple we can give each Owner/GM one nomination at each position. The top vote getter is our 1st Team, and 2nd our 2nd Team.

If we do it the other way then each representative has to rank the top 3 at each position and we break it down into 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place points, and then go from there for our 1st Team and 2nd Team.

This is the email I sent to Bort through the Help Desk...

Bort- We have an EXTREMELY active league at USA A#1 (probably THE most active.

We have kicked the idea around in our forum of having an West vs. East All-Star game.

Is there ANY possible chance you could simulate something like this for us that would have no bearing on XPs, etc? Just something for league pride and kicks.

Would eventually be a good idea across the board, but we can have a league nomination process and we could forward you the list of players for each team and have a simulation.

You'd make a BUNCH of very active guys real happy

Thanks

'Dawg95 (Texas Roughnecks USA A#1 Western Conference)

I think there is no way in hell he would go for it. If he did it just for us, the rest of the GLB will cry and he will be forced to do it for all. I hope it happens.

As far as the selection process it should be three deep. the guy with the most votes is the starter, the guy with the second gets the 2nd etc.
