It's terrible. From the outside it looks like a Kroger. From the inside it looks like an MC Esther painting redone by a blind guy.

So much for those "Florida 5" Now it looks to be the Florida 1?

How the hell do y'all lose recruits after 3 practices? It is probably because he sees what a clusterfuck it is and maybe he can run to a juco this year in order to play somewhere else next year.

Maybe Malik will do the same thing since y'all are already taking him from being an elite outside LB and are making him gain weight to play ILB since you don't have a D-line or any other ILB talent.

I've seen the responses. Other than aggies (and even including some aggies), every fan base has said that it looks horrible.

You've lost something like half of your vaunted 2013 class; I wouldn't be the one throwing stones here. And if he leaves because he came on campus with four other LBs in his class and saw that he was 5th in the rotation, then he doesn't belong here. I'd rather we lose a guy because our coaches were able to weed out a weak link that to lose a bunch of guys to arrests like Sumlin has.

And if you don't think Malik can play OLB at 240, then you're just showing your aggie mentality. You guys were jizzing your pants over him when you thought he was going your way, but he made the correct choice to play for a coach who can actually coach a defense.

So you are saying gaining 20 lbs quickly is not going to affect his quickness?

As for losing players from our 2013 class, we didn't lose then because they failed to qualify, and damn sure didn't have attrition 6 months after NSD before they ever had a chance to take a snap. If you cannot look at what is going on over there and see things are a total clusterfuck you need to lay off the kool aid. Here is your running tally for guys y'all won't have 6 months after they signed their LOI:

Out:
Du'Vonta Lampkin
Cecil Cherry
Gilbert Johnson

Still not cleared:
Devonaire Clarington
Ronnie Major

I'm saying that Malik is an athletic freak and having him gain weight even if it hurts his quickness slightly (if at all) will make his game better. He ran an electronic 4.39 at 215 lbs and from what I've heard so far out of camp is still running in the low 4.4s at 240. He's a freak and for the next three to four years you will be wishing you had him.

Attrition is attrition regardless of whether it happens prior to the class enrolling or after the guy gets on campus. Calling what's happened so far a clusterfuck is the aggie overstatement of the year. Strong is building a team of bad motherfuckers by weeding out the weak. I'd much rather lose a player who leaves because he won't get playing time due to there being more talent ahead of him than lose a talented player due to discipline or grades. Sumlin is hemorrhaging talent left and right because he has no discipline and your team is repeatedly losing guys due to arrest and grades.

And that lack of discipline is showing on the field--your team is getting worse every year under Sumlin and your defense is absolutely horrible. I could post endless .gifs of your "star" defensive recruits missing tackles or just giving up on plays due to their lack of discipline and effort. Once Strong gets his guys into the program and developed, you will never see that from a Texas team.

Y'all have lost 6 more players this off season than we have. I would say y'all are hemorrhaging talent, but you would have to have a lot of talent to be able to hemorrhage it. We will uptick this year and y'all will stay stagnant. Let's look at the results after this year so I can bathe in your tears.

Also, attrition after a season or two isn't the same as attrition before camp is over. That is a sign that kids were lied to and/or feel that their prospects of success on the team are so bad they would rather burn a year of eligibility rather than play for horrible coaches.

Your ability to expand and contract the applicable timespan in order to suit your argument is certainly aggie delusion at it's best.

Are you fucking retarded? The article says nothing of the sort. All it says is that Texas out-recruited aggie for the top linebacker in the country.

No, this is what I call great coaching:

2x National Champion (DC)
Big East Champion (HC)
Sugar Bowl Champion (HC)
10 Players draft from first recruiting class as a head coach

Here's what I call shitty coaching:

No national championships
No conference championships as a coordinator or head coach
No BCS bowl wins
As a head coach has only recruited two players who ended up being drafted with one being a JUCO and the other not ever making a roster beyond a practice squad.
