Can't you take this crap to the Free For All, dear lord it is tiring. I'd much rather see talk about, you know ... the games? Man I miss AA

I actually agree with that and, though I do tend to enjoy arguments and/or debates, I might even be sorry I even responded to the post that brought that old thread up.

While there is still some talent at the top, it is also becoming evident that AAA #1 is not as deep as AA was last season - what's with all the CPU players???
I agree. But hey at least we pad our stats I guess.

It would be nice if the games were a little closer. Maybe we should put our defensive line in our offensive positions and vice versa. Maybe then the games would be a little more competitive.

God likes us to talk about football here. I know this as a fact. He also tells me how to properly train my guards. You would be wise to listen to Him as well.

Those CPU stocked teams are new teams that replaced the teams that bolted for the USA after last season. We have a significant advantage over them for now. I feel a little sorry for them. Good luck to them on fielding a competitive team this year.

Red Elephant Club reporting...We started from sratch and were originally in Canada AA League and then later without notice moved to Eastern Europe AAA League. Our comp players were Level 2 and 3 tops, but through numerous offers and trades we are starting to look comp on paper.
We still have not put a TD on the board yet, but I am hoping tomorrow AM we will break through. Shooting for a strong 2nd 1/2 of the season.
The league flipped from an owner's league to now a player's league. I could barely get on a team last year and now I have seen 3 or 4 LEVEL1 LBs going for 36k a year.

yeah players are demanding big bucks. I find it easier to just wait. I have better inactives than most all the guys on the free agent wire who are lvl 1-6 anyhow.

Good luck to building your squad. Nothing wrong with taking lumps for a season or two. As a personal word of advice, don't overspend nabbing free agents just after a big contract. Interview your people and find those guys that seem committed to the game. You might endure a losing season, but they will be playing and developing so that next season you start with a core group of guys you know won't be going anywhere for awhile.

Yeah don't worry about it. Get a good core squad. I bought this team last year then went 0-8. Now I feel like my team has a good chance to go to the playoffs. Getting a good core is the start, others will follow.

I agree. My main core is still intact. I've had to trade a couple of players I hated to, but such is life. Of my 22 starters I think over 17 remain. Very few have left, it's mainly been backups that wanted starting gigs. Even though they signed up as a backup, the flurry of new teams had them bailing.
