Actually in my stats class we are reading a book that shows how "super crunching" can predict nearly anything (wine quality, job performance, etc.) One of the chapters talked about how going for it on 4th down and anything less than 3 is statically an advantage to you if you break down average yards per punt, your defense, and your ability to move the ball. We were just playing to our advantage.
Yeah, I have read about the exact same thing.
In the USC-ND game with the famous push for the winning TD, the game was clearly rigged. Pete Carroll should have punted earlier in the drive. College football is rigged.
The Reggise Bush push was one of the most controversial college football plays of all time. And no they should not have punted earlier in the drive because when you are down in the 4th quarter, thats what you do, go for it on 4th down. You don't fucking go for it on 4th down and 6 when you don't NEED to go for it MOTHERFUCKER !DO YOU UNDERSTAND ?
I could understand you better if you weren't playing scrimmages for the rest of the season.
