It's the way NASCAR used to be, in the middle of a season they'd say "well chevy has won 4 in a row and Ford's at a disadvantage, so we're changing the rules to make Ford more competitive." You can't do that, stick with the rules for an entire season then adjust. if Bort really wants to test out and tweak, cut the seasons in half. Do 8 games and then a playoff, but don't make drastic changes every other game.

There should have been more than 2 scrimmages to test out the new defense and offense tactics. That's where he messed up the most. 4 games would've been nice, and he could have given out XP during those scrimmage games.

Season there weren't any scrimmages. Season 4 there were. I'm betting Season 5 has a few more... Bort is learning as he goes too I'd say. Implementation isn't the best, but my message is that we all enjoy it, and will enjoy the end product that much more. Just have to be patient, report bugs, and enjoy it. The game is still fun for me if frustrating at times.

I can attest to how maddening the game planning is and I agree it is quite frustrating.
Then I stop and think, ("Is this any harder than my real job?") and it all comes back to me.

I am sticking around as long as I still have free time.

I can understand the need for all the changes and that we need to be patient because they are needed to make the game better for the future as it is still a Beta. However, not only is it crap to make changes on the fly as already mentioned ruin good builds within the rules and render game plans ineffective, but even more so its BS that they wont allow us to reallocate spent points to adjust for the changes. If you made a speed wr like flames and ignored agility you should be able to redistribute some of those points as you most likely would have never ignored agility had the new rules been in effect.

Good point! I feel your frustration with our WR builds. I'm not sure where to assign points anymore. Maybe kicking to get the CB off my ass.

Not only that, he refuses to back off the 10 years and your done rule. Those of us who actually make it to the 10th season without quitting will have absolutely nothing to show for it once we are forced to retire.

He has built this money treadmill on a core program that's still broken. How can you possibly build on a base that isn't sound? It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Anyway I'll stop whining to you guys. The more I talk about it the more I realize that he isn't getting another dime from me.

Great job you guys. I'm about to kick my kicker. Not saying we would have won in overtime if he'd made the extra point, but at least we'd have a chance... But that takes away from what you guys did. Really great game and you guys did an excellent job and played in a good way.

Agreed. After seeing that, I'm hoping it was an Advanced AI mistake and not the default AI.....that really ruined what could have been a fantastic OT.

Look at the bright side though, at least it wasn't a FG attempt
