GG to you too, Sarge what did I tell you about Games Of the Week? We haven't won one yet

Sorry, Sin.

Your Christchurch game is probably safe, as Tonga-Dunedin is the same week. However, the Bandits in week 15 is one of only two games that have much shot as both teams could be fighting for their playoff lives.

So Sarg , after we upset the Chinese, are we on track for playoffs or do we still need to beat Coney?

Uluru needs to beat 2 of Fuego, Coney, Cimmeria to lock in a postseason berth. You can make it with 1, but it'll depend on who's in the tie. For instance, if you beat Cimmeria and not the other two, then El Fuego grabs the #6, and you and Coney lock up at 8-8 ... if the Bandits make 8-8 as well (very possible), then the Coney-Uluru-Chinese tie will be broken on points scored and Uluru loses that tiebreaker to everyone (you're 44 points behind Cimmeria, the next closest contender).

1-5 are locked up absent some significant upsets. Likewise, #12 on down is pretty solidified. So you have the six spots from 6-11 to fight over, with 3 teams getting playoffs. Redscape's chances are dwindling - they need to upset two teams to even be in the discussion, so you only have to stay ahead of two other teams.

Cimmeria's one upset away from being in this discussion - and you're the team they're most likely gunning for.

Just curious... was the term "creative passporting" a reference to a certain Olympic issue?

Indeed, the Chinese government insists the gymnasts that the state-run newspaper listed ages of 13 and 14 years old last year are all 16, the minimum age for Olympic competition. The Olympic standard is the birth date printed on their passport, which is, of course, issued by the Chinese government.

Yeah, I know about the controversy. Having lived in China for 3 years, I stay up to date over there. But I loved the new idiom and wanted to make sure it was about what I thought it was. We need to get "creative passporting" into the lexicon with "truthiness" and "hanging chads"...

Admit it. You like saying Cimmeria.

Alright, the game of the year is upon FPQA. We've decided we like cellar dwelling here and getting beat up by you guys, but more importantly Oceaian AA#2 is just a kick ass league to be in. So we've decided we're gonna do what ever it takes to make sure we win this next game vs Asau. We wish them luck though... bad luck.

LOL.
This tickles me. And I'd love to have you around here, too. Hopefully, though, we'll be gone, but we've got a long row to hoe before that!

GG Asau! Well fought battle of the bottom feeders, but we've pretty much secured our place as the ultimate cellar dwellers of the Zeta conference. Sorry to see you go, but best of luck next season, I'm willing to guarantee you'll have the better record.

So, how many more seasons of us being completely out-leveled do you all think?

1.5 seasons. Once people reach level 29 they are at minimum XP so even with boosting they will only get 5 levels a year. You can double that at this point, meaning right now you are about 10 levels back, so you should be close to equal by the end of this. You will never 100% catch up without some signings but you will be close enough that wise game planning and good builds should make you competitive. Good builds being crucial.
