Ikk v Belfast great defensive game for both teams. Ikk forced 4 turnovers, while Belfast camped out in Ikks backfield. Belfast shut down the run and that was the difference in the game.....Both teams you didn't disappoint.

Glagow had a balanced attack racking up over 200 yards on the ground and through the air as they down the Beers in a shellacking.

South Yorkshire thoroughly dominated the line of scrimmage on offense, that usually spells doom. Guess what it did.....team Lazy had no answer.

Lyon didn't make any mistakes on offense, while landing haymakers right on the chin on defense. (4 sacks and 3 turnovers) Army gets sent back to basic training in this one.

Belgrade comes up just short of the upset of the season, Marseille gets some turnovers to help their cause and pulls out the win. Great job Belgrade, way to hang in there.

Cork City versus Port St. Lucie, 349 yards rushing for the Wildcats, -29 for the Knuckle Dusters. To say anything else would sound like gloating and I will not insult an opponent that way.....especially one who has beaten us in the past.

So lets see 7 and 1 again this week bringing me to......43 and 13. dart on the other hand is 3 and 5, for a lackluster 23 and 31.......


I am the defensive coordinator for Belfast and I must say that I am very proud of our D. I put in a lot of hours with the Defensive AI to stop them.

Well as team owner I have to say im just as proud to have such a good D co-ordinator as I am of the performance of our D!!!


I did the first couple of games (D AI) while I was in Chicago the city of D.

so my esteemed colleague (and I mean that in the British House of Commons way) Asmodan had this to say......

I know i don't hold Cork very high, but that they almost blew it against Spaniards surprised even me."

My response is this, when you hold a team to 25 yards rushing on 32 carries.....Sack their quarterback 8 times and pick em off twice......that's not "blowing it". We didnt score a whole lot of points, they played tough defense and forced some timely turnovers, we scored enough to win. And considering they scored 1 point less against us than they did against your team Asmodan I would be careful (you keep giving graphic illustrations about how right i was about you). hey instead of ripping us, why don't you say something supportive, like the Spaniards put up a good fight or They kept it close???? Oh wait i forgot who i was talking about for a second. You're a joke......unfortunately for everyone else you're not a funny joke.

You went from 7-0 to 7-9, and didn't score again until 4 minutes left of the 4th quarter.
And even then Spaniards was 6yds away from WINNING!!!!!
And what you mentions is actually the worst part of all, and not a good thing for you.
You sacked them 8 times, was good defensivly and did ok offensivly in average.
Yet even though you played better, you almost lost, which is what almost blowing it means.

Oh, I thought blowing it meant something totally different.

Maybe someone can tell me what it means when someone says we suck.?.

My apologies if you are joking, but given the cultural range here it is entirely possible no one else uses the American slang form of the verb.

Basically; it is a very mild, generally light hearted insult. It implies that the person who 'sucks' is bad at something. "Bob sucks at poker." It is rare to hear it said with any real malice.
