GG Philly! Happy to pull out a win, but it was ugly and means nothing at this point of the season. Found some AI mistakes thats for sure! Look forward to the next one!

Fish had the better offense, but somebody gave a great pep talk because Philly managed to score in the last minute to sneak out the win. Nice job. Both teams played well.

Yeah I just have a basic D in I usually don’t pull out my real defense till playoff. Tried some things on offense. Still have SPs to assign but it was a good game. I’ll look at it later.

Edited
just looked I had no O or D AL set 🤦🏽 forgot to hit save

Lol! I figured we were going up against you without game planning, turns out that was true! Tried some offensive stuff based on your past games but it stalled the offense more than helped it. With any luck we will have enough kinks worked out by the playoffs to give you a decent game.

PeeWee Gold Top 12! Game 4

1. Rome Gladiator Yaks- The Yaks rode Yak3 the running QB to victory. A very tense game after 3 quarters and the 4th was back
and forth until Yakrb2 broke through and took it to the house sealing a hard fought win for Rome and the
top spot in the polls!
2. Irridescent Ditch Fish- A fun game where our offense couldn't do much and the defense had some holes. Flying Fish kept us in
it with a long score and unsung WR Tarpoon flew off the field with 9 catches. D played well with 6 sacks.
Happy to win and know we are not completely outclassed, just a lot of work to do.
3. Philly Philly- Dropping 2 spots with the loss Philly won't run go undefeated, but judgin gon last seasons results they don't really
care about regular season results and we won't see their true strength until the end of the season. Tough defense
and a scary returner are two things i noticed during the game.
4. RC Rabid Rabbits- Up to 4th spot the leaping ones also seem to like the dope crackers. QB Runny Bunny surely ate one too
many racking up 709 yards of rushing and 19TDs certainly having a high time. As was Bunny #52 returning
7 punts to the Endzone.
5. PeeWee Deadmen- Marcus Monroe kept the Deadmen alive until late 4th quarter, then the Yaks got the upper hoof and stompled
them back into the grave. Deadmen will need to liven up their running QB defense, minus that they likely
would have won this very equal game.
6. Deadwood Gunslingers- Staying at #6 with a win over the ex-great ones. FunkMaster again lived up to his name but wasn't the
top rushing QB in this game as the Dead D let All-Pro CPU QB IOC run for 375 and 3TDs!! Guess the
Gunslingers forgot the Zombie bullets, gonna have to patch that little oversight up.
7. Desperate Dotballers- Cracking 1100 yard of total offense the Dotballers destroyed Tokyo. Speedster RB Ki-Jana Carter led the
way with 13 TDs and lets not overlook Ryan Leafs perfect game! 2 for 2 and a TD, he also completed
14 of 14 pitches for TDs!
8. Berlin Mustaches- The Mustachioed QB snuck right under the Gunslingers noses and in to the endzone a couple of times,
not a bad look for the facial haired ones against a human team.
9.5. Arizona Firehawks and D Play Creators- Seeing they can't figure out whos better on the field i aint going to help them out by
by picking one as a winner in the polls either.
11. Tokyo Chaos- Tokyo really was a mess after that one, a little more chaos and it will be pressing Portland for the most
disgusting city award.
12. Portlandia Crackers- Anything a rabbit eats shouldn't be a team nickname, scorpions, spiders, squirrels, druggy crackers.

You're exactly right about livening up the rushing QB defense.
I'm trying to figure out the "what happened?" riddle after looking at the play by play: The QB that did the most damage on the ground was tagged correctly, and DAI packages put in place to trigger when said tagged player was in the game..........but looking at the packages versus what defensive plays the sim actually ran.........not a single play that I set up in the packages were used.
I obviously need to get back to basics and relearn or remember how to do it.
Argonut always has good teams and our teams historically have very tight matchups.
Honestly, I'm pleased to have kept the game that close with how the sim and DAI triggered.
As always, loved the write up!!!
Now it's back to the drawing board to figure out how it happened so I can get my defense in shape for the next opponent.

EDIT: I figured it out (I think) and it was a failure on my part. We'll see when we face our next opponent.

I do love the 4th place in that ranking, but maybe I am advancing too fast. I want to hit the stars, but at the current rate, I will be way beyond the stars before the season ends.

Pregame Showdown: Fish (4–0) vs. Gunslingers (3–1)

The Fish: Undefeated and Unrelenting The Fish come into this game riding a perfect 4–0 record, but their narrow escape vs Philly (https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=79776) proves they’re not invincible. That game tested their resilience, and they passed—barely. Their offense has been efficient, their defense opportunistic, and their coaching staff clearly knows how to adapt. This matchup will reveal whether they’re truly championship-caliber or just riding early-season momentum.

Key Strengths:
Balanced attack with clutch red zone execution
Defense that bends but rarely breaks
Composure under pressure—especially in tight fourth quarters

The Gunslingers: Locked, Loaded, and Looking for Blood At 3–1, the Gunslingers are no underdog. Their game vs the D Play Creators (https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=797566) highlighted their ability to grind out tough victories. They’ve got swagger, speed, and a chip on their shoulder after missing a chance to go 4–0 themselves.

Key Strengths:
Deep-ball threat that can flip the field in seconds
Aggressive defensive front that disrupts timing
Momentum—they’ve been heating up each week

What to Watch For:

Turnover Battle: Both teams capitalize on mistakes. Whoever protects the ball better likely wins.

QB Duel: Expect fireworks if both signal-callers get hot early.

Fourth Quarter Grit: Fish have proven they can close. Gunslingers need to prove they can finish.

Love it! Hope we live up to that fine write-up! Have a new offense for this one and the past 2 scrims so fun watching some different plays! Good luck Gunslingers!

Well i thought looking at your QBs that it was players who were busts! Lookinng at the roster i recognize almost none of them, though there are at least a few names i recognize that i dont remember if were busts or not like bosworth, kenoy kennedy gholston, archuleta.

yeah mostly busts, some were players who may have done well but didn't live up to expectations. Finding that many for each position got tricky lol.

As a commander fan, Archuleta was overpaid and didn't fit our scheme (which was our the stupid owner/DC fault) and pretty much sucked lol.

after this game, I think my QB is going to die of exhaustion lol

I wonder what happens if a player's energy drops to 0 and stays there hahaha

GG PeeWee DeadMen. That was an easy win for you, as I forgot to save the tactics.
