Bump. Hey Bort and DD, any interest in any of the above? Could be a good time to try.

Would this thread perhaps have more luck if it was moved to a different forum that the game owners/administrators are more likely to see?

Your best bet would be to ping Bort directly on discord. However be forewarned this game is the equivalent of his highschool sweetheart that will always have a special place on his heart, but he doesn't want to spend time with in his 50's.

This game is incapable of growing because of the effectiveness of current players. Nobody wants to start a new game and lose consistently by 100.
It was fun when none of us knew what we were doing. Now it's down to a science.

I wish I had your confidence when it comes to dot-building and game-planning! I sometimes feel like I'm stumbling around in a dark room, blindfolded.
I think that's one of the best reasons for bringing new people into the game though. Right now, everyone follows the same build patterns and it can get rather stale. But it's entirely possible that, given enough new blood, someone comes up with a new and innovative way to build dots. Or, at least, a new way to gameplan with dots that have been built differently. Variety, as they say, is the spice of life.

If you are losing by 100 you are doing something very wrong.
