Dragon League Week 13 Match-ups

House Party @ The Program
The Game of the Week! I have a bad feeling about this one. HP has major upset potential and they are playing to keep a hold of the wildcard, while The Program is trying to keep home field throughout the playoffs. House Party has 5 of the top 10 defensive MVP candidates chomping at the bit to give The Program its first league loss. I only have so many tricks up my sleeve and have been lucky to hold off the competitors for this long. I have a sneaky suspicion that HP will steal the W from The Program this week.

Miola Maulers @ Nebraska
Miola was mauled by The Program 71-0 last week. I have no reason to expect any different this week at the hands of Nebraska.

SRDM4M @ BABBs
SRDM4M would like nothing more than to steal this one from BABBs, well actually I would not mind a FB, a complete o-line, a FS, and some cap room to sign them all, but unfortunately I do not expect that to happen. Maybe we can work something out in the off season Smash. We have some S*s but we also have some holes and very little cap room, currently. I will have to speak with my GM and agents before I go making any back room deals though.

Knoxville Outlaws @ Grape Apes
Knoxville lost to the CPU Flames last week. I predict that this one is going to get ugly fast. It probably is a good thing that Zane is inactive because I predict that the Apes are gonna go Ape shit on the Outlaws this week.

Snow Leopards @ Texas Magnums
Another inactive team and another easy W for the Snow Leopards this week.

Obscure Reference @ CPU San Diego Flames
This should be a great match up for OR this week. OR has played well against some tough teams recently. The Flames are not that tough and in fact I thought that they had been extinguished before beating the inactive Outlaws.

We were hoping to put up a good fight, but now you jinxed us just before kickoff. 😇

GG my friend.
I took a couple of hard losses today. If you get a chance look at my Sophomore Miami Angels loss to New York Thrashers and SRDM4M's loss to BABBs

Here it is...the highly anticipated, often asked for..

Agerm73's Dragon League Week 14 Match-up Predictions

The Program @ Nebraska
The Game of the Week! Slim picking for this week’s GotW. This is the only game that has any real relevance on the play-offs and isn’t one sided. Some people believe that The Program has already won this one, but not me. I have too much respect for DL and viper. I have no doubt that that would love to play spoiler to my perfect regular season and oh yeah if they pull off the win…they're in for a round 1 playoff date with The Program, the week after discovering the secret to beating us. Viper has been playing mind games with me all week. Will he continue to run or switch it up and air it out? That’s ok, I still have some tricks up my short sleeves. We shall see. Lace em up, and let’s play some football boyz!

House Party @ Miola Maulers
An easy W for HP. No doubt, they will be attending more to the Program vs Nebraska tan they will their own game (sorry Miola).

SRDM4M @ Snow Leopards
SRDM4M would really like to win this one even though it won’t affect the playoff picture, both teams are O-U-T. At this time, I believe that the Snow Leopards are the better team (sorry SRDM4M, I still love you guys). Maybe DallasCowboyFan won’t plan for this one and we can catch em napping, but such wishful thinking is not likely to happen.

Obscure Reference @ Knoxville Outlaws
An easy match for OR. Zane is inactive and Gadz’s OR team is much improved and has been playing well. Certainly well enough to outscore the Outlaws.

BABBs @ Texas Magnums
It is not a question of if BABBs will win this one. The question is by how much. The not so great Khalfani has been inactive for awhile and the Magnum’s record shows it.

CPU San Diego Flames @ Grape Apes
Not much of a warm up match for the playoffs for the Grape Apes. I think coach should sit his starts to avoid any injuries going into their playoff game versus BABBs. Oh wait, BABBs has a cupcake match this week too.

Outside runs at the end were wonky… we were 2 or 3 steps from breaking some wide open about 4 times.

Biff Barf here! Soaking up all the esports news and barfing it back at you! Today I'm joined with Spaceman Spiff on this closing week of season LX!
- That's right Biff, we can finally put the official to the regular season's records.
Alpha Division lived up to it's name and not only had the home field advantage winner but an undefeated one at that!
- Yes, and they also can out with the Wild Card team. Beta Division was also up to it's name sake with the second best record winning there.
Meanwhile Gamma had a team that thought not winning was the way to go and won the Bizzaro World Championship, congrats Texas Magnums!
Let's get straight to the action!

DRAGON League
Alpha Division
1 The Program 14-0-0
2 House Party 10-4-0
3 Nebraska Cornhuskers 2001 9-5-0
4 Miola Maulers 2-12-0
Miola Maulers make House Party's night by losing, 0-85.
-HB Rough Draft v3.0 ran for more yards than most QBs threw for (290) while generating enough points to beat 7 of the league's teams by himself this week (5 TDs).
-MLB Laughing Gas garnered six and a half sacks and forced two fumbles while HB Kegg Stand ran THREE punts in for scores! Did Miola even show up?
Nebraska Cornhuskers 2001 fail to launch as The Program wins it, 3-34.
- While the Cornhuskers drew first blood with 13:15 left in he first half as K Josh Brown K made a 26 yard field goal the rest of the game went all The Program's way as HB Darnell Jefferson ran for 214 yards and all the TDs in the game (4).
Beta Division
1 Grape Apes House of Slombo 13-1-0
2 Obscure References 6-8-0
3 Knoxville Outlaws 3-11-0
4 San Diego Flames CPU 2-12-0
Knoxville Outlaws are confused at home by Obscure References, 7-38.
- Obscure References not only had HB Howard The Duck rattle off 200 yards of churn and burn on the ground with 4 TDs, but the D led by DE Garland Greene's 5 Sack, 1 FFum, 16 RCake, 3 Tk, 1 TFL, and 1 Hry day, nearly had the third shut out of the week until with 2 second left in garbage time QB Joe Cool handed off to HB Zane Insane for a 2 yard touchdown!
Grape Apes House of Slombo dowse the San Diego Flames at home, 65-0.
- Slombo #5 secured his standings in the OMVP race and even made a special teams PRTD as the purple primates pound the pathetic pus that is the Flames.

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 11-3-0
2 Midnight Vegas Snow Leopards 7-7-0
3 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 7-7-0
4 Texas Magnums 0-14-0
Midnight Vegas Snow Leopards are shocked at home by the Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money, 10-24.
- Snow Leopards took a guess and went with the passing game but, in reality it was a running week. Hence, the surprising upset as SRDM4M ran more and better which led to a better passing day too. QB Rich "Loose" Gannon may have thrown for 302 passing yards but it was the running of HBs Emanuel Quinones and Destroyer of Worlds that ate up he clock and kept drives alive. Plus K Slots Solacesta making 3 of 3 FGs early in the game that kept the Mercs from tanking.
Texas Magnums secure a perfect season with certain failure as they lose to Bay Area's Best Builds, 7-76.
- With only 1:18 left in the first, Texas Magnums' QB, Slim Shady, threw a pass to WR2 Mitchel Higgenbottom, who made the catch for a 9 yard touchdown! Then they realized they could put their chances for a perfect season in jeopardy and promptly lost...

Underlined teams are in the playoffs

In other news... Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money admitted that their TEAM OWNER, agerm73, was investigated for ticket scalping and gambling this past week. No evidence was directly found linking him to any bets against his own teams but league officials were all seen driving 69 grand Teslas on Saturday...
