Make weather random per season. After all, we're quick to admit this isn't like real life football, no reason that weather has to stay constant.

Maybe look at Rough Cover and Zone Shark as SAs.

End of half and end of game logic pass.

This one isn't going to happen but I'll throw it out there anyways. An audible system, given to the QB and MLB. Tie it to a new stat or Leadership for QB and the Awareness/Pursuit for the MLB. Tie it into the play knowledge system. Whenever a play gets called, do a roll using the players knowledge to see if they recognize the play. If they do, let them call an audible. The audibles can be slotted in on the play knowledge section. Like click on the play, select what I want to audible if I see that play. If the audible would change the offense or defensive set, its ignored. Allow coaches to make a selection in their tactics if they want to allow audible or not.

Eh, to be clear, passing teams have been nerved three times in the last 30 seasons. I had the first happen as I had a passing team start its run lol. No one shed a tear. When PA plays got nerfed to oblivion 5 seasons ago I had to rework my whole scheme since builds were made for it, but did so. That's just the way it goes.

So can't see why fixing a problem with Pass Power should prompt any zone changes. Zones shouldn't be nerfed, but at the same time, I don't get why a QB should be penalized for having 80+ pass power.

To be clear I'm 100% sympathetic to Pass Power being dubious. But when Zone butters its bread with INTs over the middle - I don't think it's OK to just take it away from them with no recompense. And to be clear, I wasn't around for those times, but yeah that sucks. Obviously it would be far more ideal for changes that involve core mechanics to be communicated well ahead of time, like the season before those changes go live. But that's just not how Bort and crew have ever rolled.

I would say Pass Power's impact on passing arc is more a game mechanics issue. Zone or Man really doesn't need to be touched. QBs can already throw high arcs, but the problem is that's with really low pass power

whats really gonna bake everyones noodle is if there is no arc, that its just what the graphics portray a pass completed or intercepted...

It's not as much with zone as it is a counter to stacking the box.

Xars isn't wrong, but his reasons are.

That's not a bad idea at all Ghanima, if I can get a chance I'll try and draw up some plays off your suggestion. This late I doubt they create them, but it would be at least good to have it for next time if not.
