Passing is clearly the better Offensive choice. If you're targeting a balanced (even somewhat) Offense at Vet, build out the Passing part first for Rookie & Soph and then add in the Rushing skills.



I wouldn't say passing is king at rookie, QB runs probably has that title. But GE's QB isn't good at either, which is his problem.

QB runs are easily stopped if it's expected. The most deadly one is QB Rollout out of TRIPS but the easiest defense against it is Dime 3-2-6 Man Base - if it's not bugged (which it somehow got but they fixed it). It stuffs the rollout and provides decent coverage against the other runs and the most spammed passing plays.

Have to disagree. Osiris was winning rookie every season do to a dual threat QB who could run. I've made countless QB scramblers and never had a problem with Dime 3-2-6, in fact that just means you're using more DBs than LBs on the edges, which benefits the offense. And trips is a nice run, but there are much more than that these days. GE wants a scrambler, but like I told him during Empire's last run, he needs a certain amount of speed to hit those sides. Right now Skeletor is too slow to beat anyone to the edge, and not a good enough passer to be effective with that poor receiving corp.

GG Scranton. Running 4WR defense was a huge mistake on our part. The plan was you would overcommit on stopping the inside run from Singback spread. Not only did you not take the bait, but we got sacked every play. Nice job taking "Under Sam Edge Fire" out of the playbook too. Figured we would rack up that scoreboard with WR Hook. Jesus I should've just stuck with our default offensive playbook. Not one fucking point.

I'll take Scranton down tomorrow in our huge Egg -> Gamma showdown.
