Al Bundy (stats), Bartolo Bizzarro (stats), Dak Prescott (stats). maybe not every time and not every position. Could do the same thing with DC and Defensive positions.

The point is increased user interactivity and playtime. An increase convenience play rather than scheduled games. An increase in social interaction and community engagement Hopefully.

Not sure if it's feasible but I think that this is a cool idea. Just to be sure that I understand correctly - you'd essentially be able to "draft" from 3 given legendary/well-known players at each position and get reps as OC/DC in a tiered pickup system?

FIFA has a similar system in FUT Draft I believe. Lots of web-based card games have draft systems too that allow you to just jump in and play with higher-tiered cards that you would have to sink a lot of time into in the "main" game.

Also, +1 to all of the free social media engagement ideas and the Discord server.

All I ask is seriously think about the pro's and cons about this and don't rush anything please

I understand the worry that Regular leagues would dry up because of a new shiny league and its a very real possibility but if developed correctly with the focus on community and transitioning into regular league as a reward or incentive or the End-Game/Real-Game i believe it can only help populate the league rather than depopulate it.

Regular is a special thing that allows for RP opportunity that i didn't expect at all but was immediately presented with. It was such a great and unique experience to talk to people about their players and hear a backstory and goals. Seasonal leagues or pickup teams or pickup coaching wont replace that because its unique to this game and the regular league and i hope other people get to experience that as well. All of our players and teams are writing these stories and i really want regular league to stick around because of THAT more than any gameplay aspect.

Woohoo +1 ^_^

Basically yes but i was thinking smaller scale maybe only pick A player like that. maybe two. I dont know if i would say draft a full team in this way because of the time investment. Again this would be a more adventurous idea and is mostly fluff. BUT it would be cool to get a message saying "your player was drafted for a pickup game and WON!"

A discord server is easy to set up, I could get one started if you all want one.

I don’t get what’s so hard to understand. It’s so very simple. New users would go to copper with others just like them. There would be a lot of other teams with 37 CPUs just like them. The incentive is there for them to buy more players or boost to get an advantage over what they had their first season or two.

Who cares if they want to play with CPUs or not be super competitive right away? That is what Copper is for. They don’t have to play the hardcore teams.

We can advertise all we want but there is little for new users to do here. The meat of this game is coaching and team ownership.

I own a gaming center in Nebraska and have a decent sized margin following and football junkies as we have nothing better to do. And as everyone knows real football and then the NFL will start soon.

If my center was able to put together enough teams to fill out one a league for one season, would it be possible run a season without ladder games? Or would that be a pain in the ass? My thought is if I can get them to play an entire season we can hook them and at least grow a small following from her to start and I can dedicate a page on my website to league streams

You can message me if you want just a thought

If we did away with Tiers and used leagues that promote/demote like Osiris is suggesting, with just one ladder for all... you can even just keep the "Copper" leagues in their own ladder and lump the rest into the main ladder with their own Silver and Gold promoting/demoting leagues, I'd even be fine with that. Seems like a good compromise and somewhat keeps what we have going.

Just give me 7 or 8 seasons before I have to reset is all I ask in that system.

this would be great deal. im sure they can easily make sure everyone owns a team in one league together, but i doubt they could get rid of the ladder aspect for them. But at least them all being in the same league could allow them to get used to the game together.

Yeah, I agree on the ladder, but getting everyone in same league should be np

If we keep the ladder that is a great way to do it. A lot of Silver teams would be perfectly capable of beating Gold teams on any given day, especially with no level disadvantage. Looks like 3 leagues per ladder tier that way.

I’m all in on any massive changes to the game. At this point it is already dying, so might as well take some chances.

I agree, but what incentive is there to put massive effort in changing things at this point?

To retain new players.
