The game has never shipped with names. Even if they did find some rosters with names on an EA server, all EA would have to do is randomize the rosters in the future. EA said they wont do that...which is fucking stupid. Everybody I know gets it for dynasty mode so current players will be irrelevant after a few seasons anyway.

what he is saying that when they would put together rosters they were keeping real players on their EA server then would put in for it to generate new names (aka jersey number and position) they used real players so they could capitalize on the likeness, hes not saying it shipped with the names but its how they maintained the database.

correct its what the whole court case was about using the players likeness to profit. Even the NCAA was guilty of this. When you wanted to purchase a jersey you could go to the NCAA website and put in a players name and his Jersey would pop up. This has since been fixed to not happen. But EA Sports Department head said he sees it coming back in the future. Problem is there are Colleges & Conferences who may not give over the rights to their brands and Logos.

But like I said, all EA has to do is randomize all the players attributes, ratings, etc...and there would be no issue. EA said they do not want to do that...which is stupid. I doubt they lose many sales because a user can modify the players attributes, ratings anyway.

The spread of S*s is still jacked up, but at the same time I'm seeing way more defensive S*s than offensive.

Won't get my S* HB til next season so this greatly saddens me. I'm gonna have to lean on the S* dline and safeties quite a bit this season...



In other news, I may be the only owner to have a S* punter on roster in god know how long lol. At least that means no PRs against us (I really just want to be that one team thats cheesy on special teams... my madden fans know the feeling)

I did it with the Oregon Ducks before they resent to this new team. Just didn't find it to be all that much worth it. Personal opinion though, now the Kicker on the other hand is awesome. But didn't get that set up with this team that I retired WWMI to team up with.

It s funny because Genesis had a S* Kicker on deck before the reset. They're nice because I didn't have to boost him that much and his max stats were high as hell. I find them underwhelming though. He was the best kicker throughout our vet run, but eventually we only really needed him for extra points and kickoffs.

When we got to vet and started to actually play against good, solid teams consistently, our punter became extremely important with all his deep ass kicks and perfectly placed balls.

Lets get ready to rumble!!!

Game Day! It's the time to smell the fresh cut grass, time to pull out the grill and fire up your favorite BBQ masterpiece, it's time to grab that cold one that's been screaming your name. But most of all, it's Time for some FOOTBALL!

STEEL Country is ready to battle things out, fight through the blood and see who the early Leads belong to!

Week 1 seems to have Southside Rebels vs Black Hole as Game of the Week!

Rebels look like their offense wants to use some blazing speed out the gates, find a hole, and hopefully garnish a couple Homerun plays out of it. While their def wants to be a power house, lead by it's shallow but talented front four. They may be few in numbers, but don't take these monsters lightly, they are HUNGRY!

While Black Hole looks to go more conservative and ball control. They will be lead by a HB who is ready to bring the pain to any defenders, and just drive it down opponents throats. There defensive seems a little conservative as well, wanting to follow a bend but don't break style.

Can Black Hole control the ball enough to outlast Rebels D, or will the Rebels come out swinging and hitting those home runs. Time will tell.
