If you start with that max Sprinting and Conditioning, you can strip down the Quickness/Elusive/etc to the bare minimum to still make the running work. That's basically where Hittin is now, though I'll probably need to trim Quickness even more for the Scrambler. We can disagree about where those bare minimums are, but I don't think it materially changes anything. That's really the point I was making. It doesn't make sense to draw a hard line and say it works here, but not slightly to the left of that line.

When you do that with a S*, you'll find plenty of extra SP to spend on passing. And given what Hittin can do with zero passing skill, I'm pretty sure even decent passing skill would be +EV.

Really I'm most interested in seeing how it works when I dial up a ~100% passing gameplan with that gold T&R. I'm sure good defenses can contain it, but certain matchups could be really dangerous, e.g. passing out of Trips when the QB rolls to the strong side.

Yeah, I think that's what you have to do. Max conditioning and sprinting, some carry grip and aware, and that is it for running skills. Maybe a bit of footwork and call that a passing skill. However, I can't get that build unless you do superstar, egotist and workhorse. Which is unfortunate, because dual threat would have helped.

Do your WRs have any Hands skill? It won't go real well if the QB can't throw AND the WRs can't catch.

LOL...guess we will see.

Not crazy at all if you use screens effectively. The problem with your team is you don't have a WR suitable for Skeletor to dump off to.

Of course, you could always build a PuP screen WR

If this shit works, I might just keep Skeletor on his current path, invest nothing into passing and add some WRs/TEs with decent hands. Then I can pass some. Could you imagine the damage a scrambling QB with 99 conditioning, 91 power running and 90 sprinting (if I gold T&R) running down field on a broken play? And then Gold Power Through to boot!

4 for 20 with 4 drops

No investment in any passing or catching skills. Small investment in speed.

Actually had really good pass protection though.

Some solid scrambles today for Hittin if anyone is interested. Set at Often/Often.

TE Drive vs Loop Crash, scrambles for 5 yards..he tucks it really quickly in this play matchup.

TE Drive vs Loop Crash..same setup as above but gets a better block and scrambles for 16 yards.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/339435/2722836?player_id=214437

TE Post vs Loop Crash..not much there with an unblocked MLB, 2 yards.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/339435/2723345?player_id=214437

WR Hook vs Loop Crash..runs like a mangina around midfield, but still has enough speed to house it. HUGE play and great example of why I want to add gold T&R on my next QB.

TE Crosses vs C1 WR Smother..pause at tick 50 and check out all that open space (if we block that one guy). 31 yards.

Having one like Spas' and get T&R to work is hard I think... To get Carry Awareness high enough you'd have to cut down on something else... Not sure where you'd cut corners to make carry awareness high enough to make taking T&R fire enough.

You could cut like 1-3 in speed to acquire a boat load of carry awareness.

yeah, that'd be it...just wouldnt be the pure runner that his is... I think having 70'ish speed would be enough... give him enough points to throw ok enough and take off with T&R at gold that would put his speed to 90.

He has 25 carry awareness and silver T&R. I will post some games after he hits gold. In this game, T&R fired 3 out of 4 scrambles. I'm trying to see how often T&R fire if I only get carry awareness to 25. He is also doing very well at avoiding sacks with little pocket awareness.

I'm hoping with low pass awareness, he won't see open receivers and take off running.

QBs tend to scramble more in PuP games due to the non-blitzing defenses. With no awareness, I see your QB getting killed by human-coached blitzing defenses. He won't have the Pocket Awareness to escape, nor the Pass Awareness to make the zone defense pay.

Next game: 2 T&R in 7 scrambles:

Makes sense. Guess the only way is to test it. Look for Plan S in a few seasons.
