I repped us well against the next tier...but only on offense. Actually didn't do horribly on D as a whole, but their back just ran through all but my best 2 tacklers.

GG to you. I've been afraid to use cover 3 tiger too much against balanced teams, but got some morale bombs in there probably contributing to the differences between our lines. We'll meet again soon enough, I'm sure.

Yeah, the offense definitely came to play. These inter-tier matchups really suck when you get the draw against power backs. Can't really decide whether to invest more in speed or tackling to prepare us for those matchups, but that's been the focus on our defensive builds this season so we can stand a chance. Definitely a positive sign that you were able to function that well though.

We repped as well as we could against the next tier. We outgained them on offense, fumbled the ball on their 1 yard line, and missed a 27 yard field goal that would have won the game. Then we went into overtime and they scored on the first possession.
As usual, I blame off-season kicker shenanigans for the Loss.

I'd like to see some global kicking data. From the games I have watched, FG kicking has went from awful to atrocious. People always complained about FG kicking before and it's worse now than it's ever been.
