Didn't realise having an opinion was equal to being a sore loser. There was a conversation going on and I wanted to discuss it. Not everyone will agree but I still want people to understand where I'm coming from, nothing wrong with that.

As far as I know, TxSteve hasn't been intimately involved with a lot of teams outside of the Stunners. I think he's even mentioned that he relied on Madden a lot for the Stunners. While I disagree with your comment, I can understand your perspective. Rob. made the comment earlier that the Stunners defense was underrated and I agree. TxSteve had 88-91 Deflection CBs well before others were building them (and on high contracts back when that really helped). In my view, you're underrating what he did even if it was "only" with one team.

As to Rob., calling him "good" who can't win outside the meta is a fucking insult and he was right to take it that way. Name anyone else to win 6 Ladder #1s across all tiers in the same season. You can't because that's the "Rob trophy". He's got 31 #1 Ladder trophies on his page (and 53 SHIPs). You have 2 (and 19). Ever think figuring out the emerging Meta and then implementing roster management to take advantage/exploit it is how you are actually supposed to manage a team?

USC you're not an idiot nor incompetent at this game. But you've been around here enough playing against the top people to know better.

regarding Xars arguments Stunners WEREN'T the first team to use high deflection, i think they may have been one of the first to use high contracts a lot.

I will agree that one of stunners strong point was their defense, felt that many people undervalued that point about them both hawaii and stunners had great defense and kind of made run seem even stronger then it actually was

and would say steve is a good coach since he won vet at least once you should be regarded as that. Though i feel that they where lucky that run didn't get nerfed earlier which could have killed Stunners and steves legacy,

Regarding Rob, sigh arguing against a comment like "he's good but only does meta" with "he's the best in the meta" is moronic. Alos judging people on the amount of trophies is one of the worst ways to asses people, basically saying your not doing a lot of lolgm'ing as many others so you suck. The most important one is getting 1 vet trophy on a team you actually does something, to prove you are a good coach just like bort, in some generations 1 team can basically get all ladder 1 trophies untill vet solely cause opponent sucks

Personally i got no idea what rob does on the teams he's on, for all i know over half this trophies could be lol GM's also if you are on 12 teams all those trophies sounds pretty low. I regard Rob as a great coach though, with sensible comments in forum, but i can't disagree that rob mainly is in the meta, don't think rob creates the meta he just abuses it to the most like any other coach should.

We all know USC is trolling anyway, not sure why people still give him attention on the forums. I will guiltily admit that his whine / excuse posts every time he loses a game are pretty entertaining.

that is one way but I like busting the meta, its more fun. If I had the cash to burn on flex id do it to. also trophies are nice but they dont tell the story of the coach. I have taken on a lot of lower tier teams to try and push them as high as I can to help push me as a coach so I have a lot less chances at trophies than the other top guys (its my choice to do this). If I spent my time working with just elite teams im sure id have a ton more trophies. also sure the stunners pass defense was one of the best at the time but they actually were average at best vs the run. but the offense won them more games than the defense did and thats why id like to see more from txsteve before I make a judgement. as for rob there is no one better at building meta teams ill give him that but outside of meta teams he hasnt done anything. Id personally like to see if he can perform this good outside the meta, see how deep his skill runs.

arent you the troll here? I have a legit opinion and i am having a valid discussion. I'm not flaming anyone here, but you came in and contributed nothing to the discussion just flamed away.

Just about every S12 and earlier team would have to change their roster and adapt to the rushing changes. Rob's teams (like PORN and DA) are included in that. There are all sorts of different meta's that rise and fall.

Before the counter change, the defensive meta was blitz specialist linebackers. Before that, the meta was almost pure passing offenses. Before that (and before the pass/run block SP adjustment) the meta was mostly power rushing teams.

I think the old Air Raid and Alaskan Assassins were Top 10ish teams for awhile, and then some offseason S* WR's joined them which put their offense over the top.

black lava salt is pretty good too but the pink Himalayan salt is indeed the best

Tdiddy should make his own brand of salt. I'd buy it because I know its from a reputable source. Plus I think it would go well on seafood?
