they aren't fun now. they've never been fun. They only bring frustration and annoyance. Let's give kickers 14 seasons of an easy road...then we can reevaluate 14 seasons vs 14 seasons


combine power and make accuracy more expensive. so you can't just cap power/acc/con on every kicker build. Or make heart/foot/cond matter more in the kicking rolls

To be fair, this will be his first season at veteran, and we'll see how he does, but I wouldn't really consider that fine.


Well, tbf, I could kick a 40 yard FG in high school and hit KOs past the 10 yard line, and I wasn't even the best K on my team (I played TE, not K).

So I'm not sure rookie Ks should be so terrible either. I think this is one of those things were the skill rolls should scale based on tier. A rookie K should kick much better in rookie ball than if he signed to a Vet team.

The right way to do it would be to have clearly defined primary and secondary skills.

The secondary skills help all kicks. The primary skills only help FG or KO, but are the main determinant.

If you want a generalist K, you put most of your SP in secondary skills. If you want a specialist K, you put most of your SP in primary skills.

Combining power would make it a secondary skill, which isn't right imo as then KO would have no primary skill. It's also not right that currently FG have two primary skills and KO only have one.

It would also be nice if Ks could reasonably spend points on KO coverage related skills. Those should be super cheap.

If you want to force us to use only one Kicker, then fix the SP build costs.


This right here. They don't have to be perfect Kickers, but reasonable. If points are evenly spread and we get those stats, I'd take it.

Any change to the top plays is good, so nice stuff there. If there was preference towards sacks or turnovers that basically clinch the game, that'd be awesome.

I'd like to thank all the little people who had a big hand in this.

My fiance, who spent countless hours asking me why I waste my time in this game. Which only annoyed me enough to do it more. Thank you.

And finally to my 6th grade math teacher, Mrs. Skelton. She taught me that answering the equation isn't always the best solution. Sometimes you have to change the equation to make it better for everyone.
