Seems to be the story for pure passing offenses these days. Easy to just sit back in coverage when you don't have to worry about a running game.

exactly... I have to use C'Mon Man to keep defenses honest... his usage is adjusted game to game to keep teams off balance. there will definitely be games still this year where he sees as many rush attempts as Candice sees pass attempts.

I feel like BSB is the opposite and cannot do anything early but begins gaining steam in the 2nd or 3rd quarter+. Pure passing can be limited enough now it seems though as proper builds and game planning can hold a good pure passing attack running the proper spam to 4x% completion rates.

My KY team never had an offense, it was Defense or die, lol.

great write-ups Rob

watching that Central defensive gameplan, not sure why they used the plays that they did... I think there are more effective plays that could have been called. Looks like we'll have our chance to try that out tomorrow morning against Logzilla. Unless our O plays better tomorrow than it did today, we won't win though.

Been too busy to check in much this week, so it was a default/scrim gameplan against LogZilla. I would definitely spam MLB Cloud against them every time.

Is MLB Cloud a good defense vs LogZilla? Both DA and Richmond used it vs LogZilla back in the day to no avail. MLB Cloud is particularly susceptible to TE Drives (obviously haven't followed LogZilla this season to see how the passing changes impacted) so both teams to my knowledge gave up 9 - 10 YPA on MLB Cloud vs LogZilla... was not a good D for those teams at least.

I like OWMB vs LZ and similar teams. It gives up a high completion % but for shorter gains causing them to need two completions for a first down rather than just one.

Haven't game planned all season and probably won't. Too busy now. Company is taking off. In the Valley.

Freakville has been the most surprising team so far this season in Vet... we will see if they can keep it up, or will go the route of vet teams in the past that fell apart halfway through the season, like Hub City, Kentucky, and Coffee Squirrels.

Kind of enjoying being the team everyone overlooks.

That's what Central has pretty much always done against the elite passing teams like Bombers and Hostile, and we've always limited them as well as anyone. Possibly a build issue. We have a S* MLB that does a nice job at the center of that play. I also like to put our best cover CB at CB3 in 3-3-5 specifically for the TE Drive vs MLB Cloud matchup.

Last year's LogZilla game we called MLB Cloud 44 times for 4.5 YPA, 31.8% completion.

Wow impressive. Might be a build issue. I've run MLB Cloud against a ton of teams but never seem to have had success vs LogZilla specifically.

Congratulations!

(on the company success rather than the lack of game planning)
