DE Ghosting is probably the worst thing in the game right now....
Please don't fix FG kickers. I don't think I could handle all that consistency.

I guess I'll just add on that DE ghosting should be addressed. If not fixed, then alleviated somehow.

Could just be the small sample size and/or off-season SP gains, but so far I've seen something from LB's and CB's that could be attributed to that. The SS vs TE match-up, not so much.

I'm curious behind the reasoning of Bortdog sometimes. I can understand why they may not want to expound on their reasoning in making certain decisions, but some proposed revisions with general approval from most of the GLB2 community have not yet been implemented (chemistry, elusive DEs, ladder fixes), while others have (zone fixes, seasonal ladder resets, etc.) I guess they feel that if they provide detailed logic behind each change though, it'll just ignite more debate and anger. I really do want to understand though.

Has anyone named a DE Patrick Swayze yet, because if you own a DE and haven't, you're terrible at the internet.

Bill Cosby - Ghost Dad would be good too.

Reset ladder is the best change made so far

Mainly because we don't have time to do everything at once, we choose whatever we feel at the time will make the game better overall. It's also a good bit of coming to terms with the fact that people want things that they don't actually want, and trying to figure out why they want those changes and implementing something that wouldn't have as drastic repercussions as the desired change.
Also, nothing has "general approval from most of the GLB2 community". A couple dozen upvotes is several thousand votes from accounting for even the majority of GLB2 users.

For example, the "ghosting" issue is players not blocking a player they aren't assigned to block. Just "fixing it" and making players block any player in their vicinity would create pretty disastrous results in many other situations. So it consists of figuring out what exactly the fix should be, and fixing that.
Basically a lot of finding the least invasive changes that affect what people aren't happy with, and until that least invasive change comes up, we work on other things that need working on.

No one disagrees that sometimes people don't want what they think they want. But communicating this to people is kind of important. Instead, you leave suggestions / bugs hanging for weeks / months. A simple post from you is all it takes a lot of the time.

That's fine. But considering lots of people have mentioned it, I think people would appreciate a courtesy nod in the sense that you are looking into the issue. No one knows if you/Bort consider it to be a problem or not. On the other hand, you've responded to suggestions such as Xars' heart suggestion.

Yeah, I tried that. It worked about as well as not responding, and wasted exponentially more time.

Which turned into a multiple page argument. If I was posting in and responding to arguments in every thread, nothing at all would get done.
