None of the forums are. Ive only been here too seasons, and each league forum is crap. They are barely there to GG much less actually have discussions. I tried last season to keep the forums active to no avail. This year was no different. I knew how slow our forum was before I I was merged into that league.

Most of the talk is on the main forums. Only seems like 5 to 10 agents ever come on and post.

It is pretty much the same posters in every forum so we just come here.

As a veteran of Classic, its really ironic. When they shifted away from league specific forums in Classic, people started creating private forums for individual leagues. In GLB2 we have individual leagues for forums and move to a single thread in GLB2 Main to keep talk consolidated.

Diamond league used to have active forums, from Seasoned through Pro. Since we got to Vet it's died down.

Look at the CCVB / Fury game earlier this season. We went 0/7 in the 1st quarter and then followed it up with a 36/74 effort through the rest of the game. Crazy stuff happens, probably related to morale/energy. I've never seen a situation like our matchup, though. Just between the 1st and 2nd quarter was crazy (0% to 73% completion percentage).

Are there any 1st rounds upsets worth mentioning?


I know in Panther. we have 2 good games with 4 strong teams.


(#2)Moose-(#3)Dallas..... Dallas always plays Moose pretty well, I blame their asshole headcoach. But I have a pretty decent HC so I like our chances. I think Moose wins a close one, 20-17

(#1) Cool-(#4) Philly..... Philly is one of those teams that can be a bad matchup for teams (like Moose). Cool should have an idea of what Philly is going to do. Their first game was really close, 26-24 Cool. I assume a similar game with similar results. I just think Cool is built a little better for this game. 27-24 Cool.

Cougar will likely have one interesting game and one non-so-interesting.

Tiananmen Squares (15) @ Game of Zones (1) - This one isn't likely to be interesting. GoZ put up 45 on Tiananmen just a few games ago and the GoZ offense has improved since then. By earning the #2 seed, GoZ got the easy trip to the finals.

Corpus Christi Vacation Bears (2) @ Fury (4) - Yes, you read that right. The #2 team in Sophomore is traveling to the #4 team as a wildcard. That means that, no matter which team wins, the result is an upset. CCVB embarrassed Fury earlier in the season. I'm hopeful that this will be a closer game but will make no predictions.

I do feel that the winner of Cougar has the best chance at #1 in the ladder unless the Leopard champ draws some really strong ladder opponents to close out the season.

Leopard likewise has one interesting matchup and one not so much

The Atlanta Eagles(6) @ Band of Brothers(2)- This divisional rivalry has already produced some decent games. BoB won the first matchup early in rookie but dropped 3 in a row to Multi Marvin before winning the last matchup. Im hoping we can keep that going and get past them this season as they knocked us out of the playoffs in rookie.

Ghana Orange Ducks(12) @ Trinity Titans(5)- This one could be interesting, but despite a stellar staff Im not convinced Ghana can overcome an inactive owner and beat Trinity who handled them pretty easily in the regular season.

I agree here it would be difficult for any of these teams to pass GoZ or CCVB/Fury however if somehow the Squares stun GoZ(doubtful), then the Leopard champs have a chance.

Yeah. A Squares win would make the fight for #1 real interesting between BoB and the CCVB/Fury winner (assuming BoB wins).
