You can run 5 different versions of QB rollouts. If a team couldn't continually run Dime Edge 2 Blitz they're probably fucked.

Offense and Defense - not the same. Anyway - it sounds like Corndog is more referring to single play spammers (eg. QB rollout-only type teams) which are beatable teams but ruin the game for new players.

But a team can run the same 5 pass plays all game and that makes it really easy for the new players right? At least the Dime Edge 2 Blitz will stop it.... A coin flip will determine if the 5 pass plays are stopped.

I guess new players aren't ruined by ZEB either.

I thought this change was suppose to help balance things. How does RPP help balanced offenses? It just forces you to call plays that don't work very well. It seems it would hurt balanced teams worse than all cheese teams.

im just making assumptions on what the change is because Corndog is keeping it under lock and key...

But based on him not wanting to make more sweeps/pitches/slams for the rest of the formations, I would guess the RPP isn't just Run vs Pass spam. Which means it would probably be single play based. Which wouldn't hurt pass teams at all.

If that were even true, going from spamming the same play out of one formation to spamming the same play out of four formations wouldn't be much of an improvement.

How can you spam the same play out of multiple formations?

What about running? Same guy doesn't run every time.

Yeah, some are not quite as good as other ones. Adding more plays to that spectrum doesn't change anything, unless the play is better than the current version, then it's just a replacement/buff to QB rollouts.

Just take Running QB's out of the game then. Buff the all passing teams while your at it.

There is a QB rollout strong and weak for every formation. Not sure why you are having issue with providing strong/weak balance for all the other formation plays.
