Yeah I like to throw that in now and then to keep teams honest.. Problem was I didn't have it set right for the 4th quarter so it burned me as I tried running up the middle the whole 4th. LOL

I really appreciated that you did that. I wish there was a fist bump emoticon that I could use.

Btw, your d-line had 4 deflected passes this game, and 32 combined on the season. That's nasty.

You're asking me to explain the reasons why only needing 42% of your salary to produce top flight offensive output skews the advantage towards a run-first offense and away from a pass-first offense to Peeti?

No way. He's a German. Aren't they all scientists and engineers over there? This ought to be grade-level stuff for a well-educated north-central European

Well, I understood his point as you 2 are making this point every season trying to force some weird nerf/bug.

But all you do is pick teams where your assumptions fit. Look at Erkner. They only have 40% of their salary in defense, yet they have the best scoring D by far. So I could make a post looking for other examples like Erkner(for example nhs) and say everyone not putting only 40% in his D is a complete idiot...but I dont. Cause there are endless possibilities you have to be succesful.

And yeah...im an part time engineer, part time masters student. So I guess you are right that everyone here is doing that. I mean you only know one in this game and he is doing that, means 100% of the population is doing it, right?

Eh, Erkner's in sophomore. it's an equally interesting experiment though going with such a heavy O-line focus. I'd expect most rushing offenses to be doing pretty good on scoring/yardage defense. It's one of the nice things about being able to possess the ball and reduce the total play-count in a game.

We're furiously working on goosing tackling and run block engagement.

At least, errbody on defense better be. I've been warning them for a week now.

If that happens, I still think it'd be so weird to play you twice in a row. I know we'll all be shuffled around to different leagues/divisions when we move to Vet, but Gamma is going to be represented by a team without a winning record.

I humbly suggest 1st should play the team with the worst league record.

Has happened so many times, in Osprey back in the day was a constant issue between Detroit and Ministry in Beta.
