Then again - we've also hung 50+ on you more times than I can count and you're the best DC in the game....so there's that.
Definately not the best and andes was hardly built to handle you guys. The game vs stark is a much better comparison and even then id prefer some builds to be slightly different. The fact lies that the only teams that can beat Air Raid are pure run teams who exploit bad early glb builds on defense. You can build a strictly pure passing defense and they would still struggle to stop air raid. But salty has proven that a proper run defense can shut you guys down hard. The fact of superiority lies in that you cant stop the Air raid offense and you can clearly shutdown the stunner offense.

To be fair though, you MUST stop the stunners every single drive. The disadvantage on Air Raid is we're going to stop ourselves 1-2 drives per game at least. I can go line up a game against a rookie team right now, and we'll probably punt at least once on a drive that goes "wide open overthrow, drop, wide-open overthrow". We'll win 238-0 because lolsackfumbles, but that one punt will happen.
It's a rare day that we go perfect on drives and score every time we get the ball.
I also seriously doubt we've faced a team built to stop the pass the way that the Stunners have faced against a team like Salty built to stop the run. It may very well be that you can build a team to hold us to 17 points, but in doing so, you're going to get your face ripped off by Minnesota. All the teams that were our contemporaries were looking up at Hawaii and Season 1 dominant teams like Queen City and Doinitin Djibouti 1.0. Those weren't pass first offenses, so nobody built an all pass stopping defense. There wasn't even a compelling reason to build to defend against Air Raid coming up. We were a bottom half of the top 10 team most of the way up. Then S* WRs hit the open market, and I sexxed them up a whole bunch until they joined my roster and suddenly lolpassingoffense.
Even the teams built to face the stunners are probably not going to be able to beat them this season, because their offense's are nerfed.
Think about the effect that the passing changes messed up Salty's offense, same with MMA and Run GLB. Harrisonburg is playing them too early in the season. Teams playing them with pure offenses are set up to stop them. Virgins defense is built more so for passing teams, AA is probably in the same boat.

The thing is that even a pure passing defense wouldnt be able to stop you, they would have to go at least 4 s* cb deep to match you and no team would waste 4 s* cbs just to stop the 3 -4 teams would run 5s* receivers. But i can infact build a defense that can stop the stunners without a single s* on defense but it is nice to have. And that right there makes all the difference. You can only have 3 s* that matter (3 hbs thats it) in a rushing offense but you can run 6* to work the passing game (qb te and 4 wrs).

thanks for the jinx tezed.
personally - I truly don't believe an undefeated season is possible in this game. Too many things that can go wrong.

No problem
But yeah, undefeated season is probably not possible like you said, however you guys have the best shot imo. Unless the season 4 teams are able to avoid you.
