Whatever, I just hope this will showcase holes in my team (for me to fix) rather than make my entire team look pathetic. But it's probably the latter.

It's the way of the world. Last year, my team drew a few top 10 J-man teams early, had some tough losses, but they don't hurt your ranking much (you're going up vs someone 16 spots ahead of you, globably) if you lose, but you get a nice boost when you win. We were beating Jmen by the third ladder game of the season - the skill points aren't as much of a difference as you'd think they are.

The training wheels are off! Logzilla got a top 5 Journeyman team.

Your 113 globally and they are 131. Prove that Sophomore Zone Defense!!

Here's the thing. There's only 31 Journeyman teams total. The real luck is when you catch one of the awful professional or veteran teams. The worst veteran team is global 93. They're already 10 spots behind Logzilla at 83. There's 4 Seasoned teams ranked ahead of them total.

Seems like a lot. They have 50% more Skill Points and 2 more Ability Points. Thus giving them 7 total and a chance to Gold an SA.

But I suppose this could be a good learning experience. We get advance knowledge of what teams in our own league will be capable of next season and can build towards beating it. I'm trying to find the silver lining here.

Could Logzilla actually play a Pro or Veteran team this season? The raw skill/ability point difference would be ridiculous. 80,000ish skill points and 5 ability points for Seasoned. 209,000 SP and 15 AP for Veteran.

If a Veteran team is ranked below them, somehow the elo system needs a slight tweak to account for Tier. I mean, put a blindfold on a monkey in charge of a Veteran team, tell him to click randomly on the screen until all of the points/SA's have been allocated. Even with that, it has to be too much to overcome for a team as well built as Logzilla.

I had everything planned out and then this guy decides to change his defense against me. His last 3 or 4 games, he ran the same defense. I'm gonna log off and not get back on for a hole 12 hours...probably.

It's what happens when you play against a team with multiple D Coords.
