truth bomb

If Porland spammed that play 50 times instead of 15, he'd be unstoppable as it takes more than 1 tackler to bring down his HB more than half the time.

We did slow them enough to beat him the other day, but he got behind early and passed 35 more times than I expected, lol.

GG as always peeti. Your defense is no joke.

I am willing to bet that we are the highest globally ranked team (#14) to never participate in a playoff game. We always seem to land in a really tough conference.

Ladder feels stale with these huge gaps in ranks between opponents. Likewise seems to be keeping the rankings much more solid than fluid.

I like it as the upsets really mean something when they are 20 ranks away rather than playing the top 10 merry go round and we just slip 1-2 spots a season.

Yeah but as a journeyman team playing someone ranked 20 above you it gets old really fast. We haven't played a single journeyman team this year in the ladder. We can't compete directly against anyone on our own tier outside of our league matches.

Yeah but when you are #2 playing anyone below about 14 means a 'no challenge' game.

Hawaii hasn't had a close Journeyman game all season and they even played Harrisonburg. Probably more fun for them this way.

not necessarily. But I mean being #2 in the game likely means there are only a couple opponents that are playing with you anyways.

I am not saying you can't move up. But at least have some preference to playing within the tier. Why shouldn't Vase play Hawaii or Salty?

You're looking from a different vantage point than a lot of people. Personally, I think DD and QC are the two teams that are a noticeable notch ahead of the rest, and rarely lose games to anyone but each other.

When you look at the other pro teams though, they've had difficulty playing against journeymen teams because journeyman teams seem to be more planned out than season 1 rosters/builds.

And, notice a trend: The teams that ended up being the 'elite' teams (I'll even throw SF in there) all are tester owners that most likely ran through the game on the test server, planned what they wanted with their GLB2 launch team, and made it happen.

Once everyone is on an even-playing field it should be more interesting to see what happens, but the question I wonder now is: how big of a gap is there between the two elite journeyman teams and the three elite pro teams?

There is no plan for SF or Rusty. Homage/whatje weren't testers nor have I had any influence on their builds. Hell I didn't even see their builds until this season. Rusty has a crew of LB's that McBriar just said suck. And I am just following the trends like everyone else is in this game.
