set up a scrimmage against Air Raid. There're most definitely consequences to be had.

Obviously he meant in terms of outside running. Though I haven't seen mo ran against most the outside runs that crush it yet.

It's not his OTs causing the problem lol. It's corners running into the backfield unopposed without fail. If anything Romo's team has the most fit builds TO combat these changes.

Just watched every play that his Speedy back ran against us, about a 1/3 were GL sweeps, 1/3 were blew up by the DE which has nothing to do with the changes, and the other 1/3 had very good WR blocking.

Overall this change sucks because it drives us into a direction of speed whore defenses being the way to go...just like GLB1 again.

I thought GLB2's greatest plus was the ability to not have to spike speed or spike an attribute because it was a must-have. There was much more parity across attributes.

Atlantic city sacked you 19 times doing the same thing before the changes.

WOW! Watch how fast the ROLB gets to the outside on the opposite side of the field. That is F-ing ridiculous.

Yeah, and I've seen Queen City averaging anywhere from 4 to nearly 7 YPC today so far. I've also seen their WRs make blocks on CBs, and get beat by CBs sometimes. Seems like the reaction to this is a little overblown this morning. You could call me an advocate for more time to let the OCs and DCs work out the changes.

For my part, I took HB strong pitch from goalline out of my Inside run playbook on Air Raid. It was abusable to a degree by my zero run blocking skill offense previously. I'm not silly enough to try that now, especially with more OOP penalties.

I mean I get it, something had to be done about the GL Sweeps and Rollouts, but I think a little too much was done. Now we force all defensive players to be speed freaks like it was said earlier.

I mean if this is going to consistently happen how the hell are offenses supposed to run the ball. You cant run it up the gut there or you lose....and you cant pitch it now because you have 4 guys running towards two blockers.

Awesome example, 5.86 speed HB vs 5.2 speed defenders.

I don't understand why any of these changes were needed.

GL QB rollout was so overpowered because it essentially had 4 lead blockers (no matter if they engage or not) they're going to get in the way of people and cause problems for any defense.

Removing the play all together would've been the way to handle it. I don't see why making outside rushing basically worthless was the answer.
