EDIT: and why do defenders get sucked into a block like magnets, watch the LOLB get sucked in instead of getting chipped.

Oh, ya. Lots of fixes needed on defense.

Of course, since LL's next game is DADDY, I'm kinda hoping to get the Maizehound on fixing coverage issues since that's going to be my most immediate challenge...

Luckily those coverage issue changes would do just as much damage to LL and even more damage to any of these ridiculous run/pass teams as well.

Ah...the good 'ole suction blocking. That haunted EA NCAA Football for years until they implemented a new physics engine.

You can't have 100 in each skill and even with 55 pursuit my FS shouldn't turn up field when he is 5 yards in front of the QB and over a half of a second faster in the 40.

I'll tell you I coach players with more pursuit and they react much better.

Definitely Pursuit. Snap Reaction largely should be a focus if you are trying to beat a block off the snap. Largely that is Dline and possibly CB's straight up on a WR like Romo's or Xav's.

my rookie FS has 45 pursuit

and he also doesn't have largely most of the skills that Para's FS currently has either so what is your point?

3-4 Cat Blitz tended to work out well enough for me in rookie. Can't remember how it did against sophomore CME but I don't recall any 99 yard sprints.

Haven't seen it in action in the higher levels, though, so fuck if I know.
