Probably didn't do anything new that you haven't seen, I haven't tried to stop it at all so I have no clue what works and what doesn't for this.

Well, I'll give ya one hint:

Middle Overload does not work 19 out of 20 times

(course that 1 out of 20 is a TFL, so...)

Being aggressive vs pitch teams rarely works, you just p[ay it conservative and wait on a couple good rolls to force the punt. Sadly looks like we got tired in the 4th QTR and you broke some long runs.

You held up way better for a lot longer than most teams.

Also, not sure what was up with the defensive playcalling for my team. I like All Out Blitz as a very, very occasional play, but it was getting called all the freakin' time. And the rest of the time was ILB Blitz...

seems that scrim was buggy because I believe the cover 1 and man base vs the goalline shouldnt have been called either

Wow. So rather than admit you have no evidence to support your claims of QB Rollout being OP, and even though my team is running it less this season (with the exception of that CPU team with a rookie roster because we ran everything more against them), you're going to accuse me of dishonesty?

Ad hominem is the last refuge of those who cannot argue successfully. Unfortunately, it does kinda end any chance of debate since you've indicated you're going to ignore any of my claims, backing, or warrants. Pity that. I'd hoped you see the value in rational argumentation rather than just gut feelings and emotionally charged rhetoric.

mis-use of ad hominem fwiw

Correct, no clue why that kept getting called. I had Short & Medium set to 0%.

I think it's stupid that unless you have your entire team focus on run defense QB rollout is pretty much guaranteed to break 2-3 long runs, probably TD's. I'm not gonna complain about it too much, but you bet your ass I'm gonna put it in my playbook until it's changed. Would be stupid not to.

Make this game public!

Winterfell's?

You did see what Darkside did to Tampa in last season's championship, right?

Give up 17 yards a touch? Ya we have seen that many times now.

And Darkside shut them out. And won the championship.

Look. You've made it clear you want your purple participation ribbon for caring about yardage even if you've lost the game. But you have no experience running or defending the play in question, you've refused to look at how others defend it, and hence, you're really not adding anything of value to the discussion anymore.

You're just pulling garbage out of nowhere and whining because someone else has figured out more about how the game works in the few months they've been here than in all the time you've played both GLB1&2.

Well yeah, We should skate past all these teams while we are still outside the top 30,

I was mainly talking scrims and league games.

I'm gonna be giving defending the run a go, just to make sure these new joes we brought in actually do what i expect them to beable to do.

I would if I could but I didn't set it up.

It was a good game and tied 10-10 going into the 4th. But that's the point where we finally broke them with a 38 yard HB run off tackle that set up a 4 yard HB run up the middle for the go-ahead TD.

The next Yorick TD drive of the 4th was a grindy 8 play drive that finally, at 2:22 left in the game, led to Quincy breaking a run to the outside for a 22 yard TD.

The last Yorick TD was a 6 play drive ending in a 1 yard QB run up the middle.

So for those keeping score, Yorick's TD's from QB Rollout only 22 and 7 yards. There were a couple other decent runs from that play, but the longest play we had from scrimmage was the HB off tackle run.
