not to call out Xav, but we've held Yorick to 3 total points in 2 games... (starting rushing QB to 1 yard on 14 rushes, and 19 yards on 10 rushes for the two games) so it's not that tough to stop, you just have to make sure the EXACT defensive plays are triggering at the EXACT time you want them

That falls under the whole "if we don't score a TD early, we prolly don't score a TD at all thing" I've been talking about.

exactly, and especially if a good number of the defensive players have morale-killing SAs like trash talk and showboat. A few TFLs/sacks and morale on offense will be shot and it'll be hard to get back momentum.

I've had this issues a few times with my soph team... give up a long TD early, and my players morale is like their dog just died
