Well what about when facing a team with 3 superstr linemen and a blitzing lb star also
I'd want to hold in more blockers than rushers

As for Nib's post, I could see adding a "blitzer threshold" option. Like, a drop down to select between 3 and 6 to decide when to hold players in to block.

I also don't think it should be considered an "exploit" to decide to hold someone in to block who is bad at blocking and catching
But that's secondary to being able to intend to have 6 blockers every play vs the team leading your league in sacks

You don't see the exploit of currently not throwing to your HB or FB, or even having them as a target?

it works on the server but I am yet to see one time it works live. Remember it didn't work at first on the server either until Bort fixed it. So maybe there is something wrong on the crossover? Not to say I don't agree with the evasiveness numbers or the amount of blitzers people are sending. Just would like to see a confirmation from at least a scrim game it works live.

I'll set up a scrim, set your defensive playbook and tactics to All Out Blitz

oh its fine like that for open scrims. Don't want people playing me 30 times getting down our plays.

Do defensive players do nothing at all if their assignment blocks?
If they do nothing at all i see the exploit, otherwise I do not

If I could hold in the hb or fb more sf would prob have at least 1000 more passing yards.

You're saying being able to provide more time for the qb by adding blockers is an exploit
I'm just not getting why you feel that way
I get that dot ball is different from nfl football
But doesn't dot ball have the same inherent disadvantage to keeping in blockers that football does to weigh against the advantage that superior protection provides?

Looks like they might not work...somehow.

The setting is saving in the database correctly, and it works on my devbox, though admittedly rarely because the threshold is greater than 5 blitzers and not THAT many plays have that many blitzers.
