Yeah, people not logging in to apply SPs to the players. If they don't care, why not give someone who wants to be on a roster a chance?

I dunno I guess after day 30 there is what...10 days till playoffs hit? By that point you are at the critical point of the season. You should have seen within that 30 days who is logging in (at least now thanks to the activity stuff Bort put in today). After that point you run into a window of people just gutting their rosters because they are out of the playoffs.

Except that the option to see the GLB1 profile has been there awhile and on that profile you can see when they last logged in. It was a lot of work, but was do able until yesterday. Either way, it has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

So, based on this link, what should I do? ---> http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/home.pl?user_id=243061

What about guys like me, who log in every day actively yet still get cut by ProfessionalKop so he can get a head start on guys for next season?

That is messes up, so maybe the solution is, the player can only be cut if they have been inactive for more than 10 days between says 30-46.

Doesn't work. If I decided that I want to retire a player, and PM the owner at midseason, I'm stuck and I can't get the better flex return for early retirement.

And if a player is downright bad, spending skill points on things that the team doesn't want, and the team has a better option out there in free agency - your idea means we can't upgrade.

Seems more complicated to manage than just simply letting folks who don't finish with enough experience to reach the next tier have the opportunity to catchup in the offseason. That way you get best of both worlds. Owners have the flexibility to manage a roster they want/need, and player agents don't have to deal with players at varying experience from their peers.

Let folks push a button to fill their bar to the next tier if they've gotten any experience at all during a season. They'll miss out on stats just like someone created later in the season with the "experienced" option.

I guess that does make the most sense.

So I just had my guy cut from a team today before the last ladder game of the season. Is his career screwed now?

Nope.

We're discussing ways to catch up.

I like this. The player was going to miss out on stats anyway, because of being cut and missing games. That can happen if he is on a team that doesn't start or in some other way under-utilizes the dot. At least give the player the opportunity to to keep up skills wise with the same age dots.

There ya go
